You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body, and knit them together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous-and how well I know it. Psalm 139:13-14 TLB

Good Morning Girlfriends:

What a wonderful day to be alive, not because there is anything special going on, I shout just because it's a new day. This is the season where all the outside lights are being put up around houses and on trees, pine bows line the window sills with bows attached. Inside in many homes is becoming just as festive, as I have seen trees being put up, lights, ornaments and fake snow fills the mantle of the fireplaces, so many beautiful creations are being put together for the holidays.

As I stand at my kitchen cupboards most of the time, creating my own little crafts, from sea glass and beach pictures to personalized frames and now snowman signs to greet you as you come through the door. Many weddings have been decorated from this little kitchen as glitter, sparkle, flowers, bows and tulle filled the room. Decorating and creating new things is so exciting and fun to do, as you see it come to life step by step, until it is finished. One day maybe I can make a sign and call it, "Darla's Country Kitchen Crafts." Sometimes I just joke about it, but it may become a reality, who knows.

Many times I have stopped to think about how our bodies have been put together and how each of our individual parts work, in order for the whole body to work together, it really is quite amazing. Remember in the Christmas stories, how all of the little elves worked in the toy shop putting all of the toys together as they worked on an assembly line, what if God put us together that way? What if He said "I want that face on Sally and those blue eyes will match her skin tone, I think brown curly hair will look good on her, a long thin neck will accentuate her long curly hair, a small body frame will be needed, long arms and fingers and to complete her, I will give her long slender legs for her fairly small frame." Could you imagine, if that was the way He thought to create us. I read in a post that one little seven year old boy said, "God made us all different because he didn't want to be bored and look at the same face all the time," I have to laugh when it comes out of the mouths of babes.

Girlfriends, it is so true, that each one of us are made so different, uniquely different, wonderfully different, creatively different, that's the way God planned it. How very boring would it be if we were all the same, one shape, one look, one attitude, one mold. We were designed creatively by the "Potter." Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Jeremiah 1:5 says before He formed us in the womb He knew us. Genesis 1:27 says that God created us in His own image and that is another lesson all in itself. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. God knew what He was doing when He created each and every one of us and when He was finished, He looked at us and said it is good. (Gen. 1:31) Each one of us is the work of our Potter's hands and we can find that in Isaiah 64:8. He loves us, He really does and He wants nothing more than to have a deep, intimate relationship with us, as we the creation, get to know our creator in a deeper way. Let's, each of take some time to think about how wonderful God made each one of in our own unique and special way, and let's love ourselves just the way were are, because God does, Amen!

Let's Pray,

Father God, We thank you for who you created us to be, we thank you Lord that you know everything about us, you even know the numbers of hair that is on our head. Lord, You took time to create us all different, so Lord I pray that each one of us would continue to get to know you in a much more deeper and personal way as we sit in your presence and dig deeper in your word as we unfold the wonderful riches of who you are, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Be blessed sweet ones and pass the blessings on. You are loved in your own uniqueness.
