Let's Rejoice

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

God is so good no matter what is going on in one's life, there can be chaos all around, busyness every day, God is still a good God. My days are now full of helping out with a toddler, starting his day off with snuggles, getting him washed up for the morning, hair combed, dressed, a new bottle, then breakfast, while the new mama is looking after the new little one who is now four days old.

Before this little toddlers feet hit the floor, I am spending some time with the Lord as I wait for the coffee to perk, looking and seeking for a word for the day is important to me to get each day started off on the right foot, because after that there is hardly any time to breathe. Back and forth I run chasing after this "little boo" as he is into one thing after another. Trying to get myself dressed and ready for the day isn't the easiest thing to do any more, unless little Jax is in the highchair having his breakfast.

One appointment after another is always in order, as mama and baby have their check ups after coming home from the hospital after one day. After lunch this "mimi" is off to the school to pick up two of my other grandchildren, until their dad gets done work. Supper preparation begins, while chasing after a toddler to keep him occupied in between chopping and stirring the supper. Evening rolls around, bath time, now for two babies, evening cuddles with a bottle, while mama is feeding the new little one, then it's off to "LaLa Land."

Girlfriends, I sure do not miss these days at all, raising five children of my own, I guess I had forgotten how busy a mom really is. Not having the help from my mother when my children were small because she worked out, I can see how much of an advantage my children have with having my help. But no matter how busy, and chaotic one's life can be, no matter how many situations are thrown at a person, doesn't change the fact that God is so good and He worthy of our praises. (Psalm 145:1)

Oh, I forgot to mention that during the day trying to fling a few loads of laundry into the washer, washing the daily dishes, and running to town for any personal errands that need to be done, doesn't leave much time to have a personal life for anyone.

Sitting here at the desk has always been one of my quiet times with the Lord, as I reveal what God has spoke to me from seeking Him first thing in the morning. I cannot stress enough, how very important it is to take even just a few moment alone with the Lord, if that's all that you have, but it shows Him that you are serious in having a close relationship with Him as you sit and read His word and digest what He is saying to you for that day. Taking that few moments with God, can be the very thing, the very strength, peace you may need to get through your busy day.

I could not imagine living in this cruel, evil world without knowing Jesus as my Savior, I just couldn't imagine. He is the peace that I need, the strength that I need, the grace that I need to get through the day, but as well as the very breath that I breathe to stay strong in order to see another day. That is why I praise Him and thank Him for everything that I have, everything that I am, and everything of who He is to me, because Jesus is my everything and that is why He deserves my praise, Amen, Amen!

Father God, I praise You for this is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Lord, I thank you for a new day, I thank you for the breath that I breathe and the strength that You give me to face another busy day. Lord, I pray that I make the most of this day that would be pleasing to you, and that Your light and Your love shines through to who ever I meet along my day. Lord, for every one out there who is facing hard times, busy days, hard decisions, I declare that You are with them and You see them, so I speak Your peace and Your strength over them to see them through to the other side of their situations in the Mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
