And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this? John 11:26 NKJV
Good Morning Girlfriends:
Bob was a hard worker, striving to make something out of his life, as he worked diligently climbing the ladder to success. Bob was one of these men that came in early at work being one of the first to greet the others workers with his warm smile as they came in, but he was also one of the very last employees to leave the law firm at night, working long tedious hours into the night was a usual routine. The executive of the firm noticed the drive and ability that Bob had to catch on quickly to the way things rolled, he decided to promote Bob. With several more promotions under his belt, Bob decided it was time to make his big move, one that no one would be expecting, not from "good ole" Bob.
Within the next few weeks, there were whispers going around the firm of some very important files were amongst the missing, files that had very big cases inside that would be major money for the law firm. Keeping everything very hushed from most of the workers, only the top few was informed of the situation they faced, and Bob was one of the top men at this point. Everything was quiet for a few days until, another file went missing which held an even larger case that the firm had been working on for months had just slipped away with no trace, or so they were letting on. It would be another late night for Bob as it usually was, he decided to walk across the street to grab a late supper before returning to his office to finish up what he was working on. Returning with a sandwich and a hot coffee in hand, Bob slid his card into the slot, punching in the numbers that he had used for the last few years, releasing the last digit into the system, the message was not one that he had expected, "Access Denied."
As I was writing this girlfriends, there were two thoughts that were going through my head at this point. The first one was, how sad it would be if we were to live our life and never lived it for Jesus, and to stand before Him on that final day for Him to say the words, "I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evil doers." (Luke 13:27) "Access Denied." There are also those people that say they are living for the Lord, everything seems to look right to other people, but in the word of God it tells us in Matt. 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my father who is in heaven.
Like Bob, he thought that he could climb the ladder of success by showing up early, and working late hours, with a great personality and smile, but not doing the "right work" to keep him in that high place, which is honesty and truth. We cannot pretend to live a life that looks pleasing to the Lord, because He sees through all of it if we are not truly sincere.
We want to truly surrender our lives to God, serving Him and living for Him each day as we grow closer to Him, walking in His word so that when we see Him face to face we will hear these words instead, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." (Matt. 5:21) "ACCESS GRANTED!" That is why He reminds us in 1 John 5:13, "I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life."
The second thing that came to my mind, is living a life that we do not allow access to the enemy. We know for sure that he will always come at us with something, and in many different ways, but we have to be onto his tricks quickly, just as the people at the law firm were onto Bob. It took them a little time to catch on that it was him, that was taking the files, but he was quickly denied access back into the building to steal from them no more. We cannot allow the enemy to steal anymore from our lives, our joy, our peace, our love, our worship. When we see him coming at us with something to try to take us off guard or off course, we need to hold up our hand and tell him "Access Denied," devil you are under my feet and you are defeated in Jesus name, "GET OUT!" Amen!
Let's Pray,
Father God, I praise You Lord for this is the day that You have made. Lord I praise Your holy name and for who You are. Lord help each one of us to live a life that would be pleasing to You, Lord helps us to keep our focus, our mind solely on You so that when we see the enemy coming, we will be ready to fight and shut him down quickly before he knows what has hit him. Lord, help us to keep our spiritual eyes open at all times, in order to see his tricks and the people that he uses so that we do not get caught in his foolish traps in the mighty name of Jesus. I thank You Lord for Your love and protection in Jesus name and for eyes of clarity, Amen.
Be blessed and pass the blessings on as you pass this message on. Many thanks in advance.
