And may your hearts be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by His decrees and obey His commands, as at this time. 1 Kings 8:61 NIV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

It was time for a huddle as the team grouped together, listening to what their coach was explaining to them what their next move would be. In the next moment each team member would stretch forth their arm to the middle of the circle, each team mate following suit, they gave a shout lifting their arms to say they were all in.

Out on the football field during practice, one team members wanted to throw in the towel saying he wasn't good enough or as strong as some of the other players, so he was ready to quit the team. With everyone talking, the discussion became louder as the coach came up with an idea to show the young man that he was stronger than what he thought he was. The coach saw something in this young man that he himself did not see, and the coach wanted to show him.

Coach had the young man get on the ground on his hands and knees , as he called for another guy to lay on his back on top of the other guy, and he was going to see how far he could carry him across the football field blindfolded. Sounding quite rediculous, they agreed to the challenge. Watching from the starting place, the other team members cheered this young man on to keep going, as he crawled across the football field with the other guy on his back. Coach was crawling along beside him down on the ground, speaking words of encouragement to him every move forward that he made. Shouts of encouragement was coming from his team mates with great combustion as they watched at how far this guy had made it across the stadium. With great pain coming from the young mans arms and legs, he cried out he couldn't do it any more, he couldn't go any further, coach continued to push him, encourage, speaking into him, you are not a quitter, you can do this, you are stronger than you think, you can't quit, as tears were rolling down everyone's faces, the young man finally dropped with exhaustion. Taking the blindfold from his eyes, he was blown away at far he had crawled across the football field, he was just inches from the finish line.

Not many marriages make it very far these days, with one partner or the other giving up saying it's too hard or it's not worth it. Raising children certainly isn't the easiest thing to either, but we can't give up on them. We see people give their hearts to live for the Lord, and sometimes as a big storm blows through, people head back to living the way they were before. Girlfriends, God wants us all to know that we are stronger than what we think we are. God has put a strength within us to be able to endure the wildest, toughest, raging storm so that we can walk through it unscathed. Oh believe me, there have been times in my life that I thought I was going to fall apart, that I couldn't take another step, I would sink down in my chair thinking I didn't really want to get up and go again. Many times I would have to self talk myself to get up again, that I could do it. I would say things like.. God has something better for me, I am more than a conqueror, I am victorious, this was God reminding me of what His word says, He was walking right along with me through my storm encouraging me not to give up.

Girlfriend, I don't know what kind of fight, or battle that you are fighting, but I want to say to you, don't give up, Keep moving forward, keep pushing on, don't stop swinging, you can do this, You will make it through. 2 Timothy 1:12 and 2 Timothy 4:7 tells us to fight the good fight, and that we will go through hard times but to persevere through. Get in your spirit that giving up is not an option, you can make it to the finish line, no matter what hell you are going through, never give up, because God will not give up on you, Amen.

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you Lord that You have never given up on us. I thank you for Your great mercy and faithfulness towards us. Lord I lift up each one who has been struggling with moving forward each day. Lord I speak over them that they are more than conquerors and they are victorious in any situation. Lord, You are the one that gives them the endurance to push on, so I thank you for the extra boost of strength that will push them on to the end of their storm and that they will come out of it not even smelling like smoke, in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Be blessed sweet ones and pass the blessings on.
