Are You Ready To Move

Solomon now decided that the time had come to build a temple for the Lord and a palace for himself. 2 Chronicles 2:1 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Seventeen years ago my family went through a devastating house fire, which left us without a home for eight weeks, thankfully my dear sweet friend opened up her home to my children and I. Finding a place that would suit our needs, we were able to move into our newly updated and renovated little home that was just right for my three children and me. After three quick years that had flew by, my father had stopped by this day to let me know he was giving me a piece of his property, and that would be a part of my inheritance. With excitement building inside, he continued to tell me that we would figure out a way to have my little home moved from the location it was at, to be placed on the property that he was beginning to get prepared for its placement.

Several trips were made out to the family property, as I watched land being cleared, trees being cut down and sawed up to be carted away, truck loads of gravel were brought in to make a landing spot for my little home. We watched with great amazement on how this big rig that came onto the property that was about to dig the well, what a process that was. A young girl was being taught by her father how to dig the well, as she was the one that was running this big rig, who says girls can't run big machinery. Days later, a friend of my father's came to get the sewer put in place, and covered it so it couldn't be seen.

The day came when it was time for the "Big Move" to take place, but of course I had to work and didn't get to see the whole procedure take place. A dear sweet couple that had taken me under their wing, so to say, had a flatbed and had offered to help out in the big move. They worked at getting everything set up to back up the flatbed under the home, of course I was at work and missed all of the excitement. It's probably a good thing I was at work, it probably would have made me nervous just watching it all. At the end of the work day, I picked up the girls from the babysitter's and we headed to our new location. It wasn't new to me, for this is where I had grown up in my teen age years, but it would be new to all of us, as this would be our new home, new location, placed in a beautiful spot in the country with wonderful neighbors up and down the road, we were home.

Girlfriends, these were the words I heard this morning as I was waking up, "Are You Ready To Move?" When I asked God for a word, to show me in the Bible to what He was saying to me, this is when I opened up to 2 Chronicles 2 and I read over to chapter 5. It was talking about how Solomon knew it was time to build a temple for the Lord as well as a home for himself, oh a palace for himself. What Solomon was having built was completely grander than anyone had ever seen, it was a massive temple filled with gold and silver, and the most amazing angels that would line the walls to where the covenant seat would be placed. This place was so big that Solomon had to hire 70,000 laborers, 80,000 stonecutters and 3,600 foremen, can you imagine how massive this was going to be, he had the best of the best of everything.

I believe there are some big things that are happening right now for some of you as well, maybe not quite like Solomon, but big things just the same. Some of you may be moving into a new home, maybe even building a new home. There may be some of you who are actually moving to a whole new territory and land. God could be saying that some of you are moving up to the next level spiritually, what ever the case may be, this is an exciting time and season, as it says in Ecclesiastes 3 there is a season for everything.

Get excited girlfriends, for all of the times you helped others and went without yourself, for every time you ministered to that person and didn't know if you were getting through, for every time you lent a helping hand to someone expecting nothing in return, every time you were there to be that listening ear, there is a season and your reward is coming to you. Every time you gave your services to drive that family member or friend some where, every time you helped someone with some pantry goodies, or made some homemade goodies to share, God saw it all and you will be greatly rewarded. (Prov. 19:17, Rom. 12:13, Matt. 5:16, Luke 6:38, Galatians 6:9)

Whatever it is that God has in store for you, it will be so good, because He is a good good Father, and He only has good gifts for each of His children. (Psalm 23:1) Girlfriends, are you ready for the move in what ever way it comes, are you ready for what God has for you? Something good is about to happen, Romans 8:28, Psalm 37:1-40, rejoice in the Lord for He is the giver of those good things and receive that good things are coming your way, get ready!

Father God, I thank You for this is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Lord, I thank You for whatever good and wonderful gifts You have in store for Your children. I thank You in advance for the keys that are being placed in their hands to a new home, I thank You for the move to a new town, city, province, state, a new relocation. Lord I thank You in advance for a new level in the spirit with You that You are taking some of Your children. Whatever it is, it will be an awesome and exciting move, because You are the one who is moving and moving right along with us, in the mighty name of Jesus. Where You are is righty where we want to be in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
