For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

Good Morning Girlfriends:

At such a young age, my one and only son, loved to play with his tool set that he received for his birthday one year. As he put on his yellow foreman's hard hat, he went to town fixing furniture with the screwdrivers that his little hands held, but we knew a bigger project was at hand when the hammer and the saw came out.

About every other weekend my children would go out to my parents place to visit, and guaranteed you would find my son beside his Grampy as he was building, fixing, tearing apart something in the shop he had made in the garage. I can picture this little boy following my dad around the yard, with their straw hats on their heads, (that's what my dad always wore) carrying wood, as their nail apron was tied tightly around their wastes.

When Kyle was twelve or thirteen, he had made his first tree house in our back yard from left over boards that he had asked neighbors for, pieces he had found here and there, enough to frame it in for his friends to hang out in because he was surrounded by girls in this family. Then his sweet gentle heart decided to make a little house on the ground for his two little sisters that might have been two and three at the time, which they had adored playing in their own little house.

Ever since then, Kyle has always had a hammer in his hand building things, tearing walls out, ripping floors up, building houses from start to finish, who knew those little plastic tools would pave the way in which he was led to go. Today, he is beginning to ventured out on his own as other job opportunities are coming in. My father was a carpenter, my son is a carpenter and that reminds me of another carpenter...Jesus.

Joseph was Jesus' earthly father, who was a carpenter by trade as well. Can't you picture Jesus as a little boy following his dad around, watching as he was cutting, measuring, nailing, and maybe trying his hand at pounding a few nails. It was not uncommon in those days for a son to carry on in his father's footsteps, you see the same today at times. Maybe Jesus made something for his siblings or something special for his mother for her to treasure.

Girlfriends, when you think about it, Jesus was just like His Father-God, the ultimate creator and builder of the entire world. God is the Master builder, but not things of wood, or brick, He created a masterpiece when He made you and me. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jer. 1:5. Psalm 139:13 says, "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb." Our key verse states that God has always had a plan for each and every one of our lives, for good and not disaster, to give us a future and a hope, because He knew the plans He has for us.

There may be days where it doesn't seem very clear what our job on earth may be, for some it may be whatever their gifting is, what they are good at, what comes easy, but for some maybe it goes far beyond that. Isaiah 55:9 tells us, "For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Maybe God's blueprints for our life is a little blurry at times, because His ways and thoughts are higher than ours, maybe there will come a day when we are able to see that plan as God sees that plan, which is a perfect plan, we just have to walk in it, God created each and every one of us with a different purpose and with a different plan for our life, and it is a good plan, for we have to remember that God does all things well, Amen, Amen.

Let's Pray,

Father God, You are the created of all things, You are the Master Creator and I praise you this morning for who you are. Lord, you knew us before the foundation of the earth, and you created us to have a prosperous life one filled with good. Lord, you have placed special gifts within each and everyone of us, Lord help us to know what those gifts are so that we may walk out your plan that you have for our lives and that we will be used to full capacity for your glory. Lord, let us bring glory to your name each and every day that we are alive on this earth, that we would know that we have fulfilled our purpose to the best of our ability in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Be blessed girlfriends and pass the blessings on. Thank you in advance for passing this message on to others in hopes that it will bless someone today. Be the best you that you can be and do it all for the glory of God.
