Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful (to His word). Hebrews 10:23 Amplified Version
Good Morning Girlfriends:
Bulldog tenacity, or bulldog faith, what does that mean? It means to hold on or to grasp firmly; forceful. If you have ever seen a bulldog play with its favorite toy and a person tries to grab onto it, there is no way that person will be able to pull the toy out of the bulldogs mouth, because of their fierce grip they have in their jaws when the dog clamps down, the toy will not be released.
That is what we as Christians need to have is that same "bulldog tenacity" for the word of God. God's word is alive with so many wonderful promises that we can hold onto with that same bulldog faith. When I was living in Nova Scotia, I had to stand on God's promises for me that God would bring my fiance back to me. I knew that God had put him in my life, as I quoted scripture Mark 11:23-25 which says, "You can say to this Mount of Olives, 'Rise up and fall into the Mediterranean,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and have not doubt! Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you have it; it's yours! But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive you your sins too." (The Living Bible)
2 Peter 1:3-4 says, "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises." (NIV) So you see, whatever you need already belongs to you, you just need to reach out and take it. You can claim what is yours NOW! If you are in need of financial provision, do these three things:
Say, "I claim the money I need as a child of God, according to His promises."
Say, "Satan take your hands off my money."
Say, "Ministering spirits, go, and cause the money to come." "In Jesus Name."
Bulldog faith commands what rightfully belongs to you to come to you. It calls into existence the things that do not exist. This is what the Centurion was doing when he said to Jesus in Matt. 8:8-10, He said, "Speak the word only, and my servant will be healed." (KJV) The Centurion was telling Jesus, "Your word is the only evidence I need." Bulldog faith commands things desired from out of the spirit realm into the natural realm. It's believing in God's word, standing on God's word beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will do what He says He will do. This is the greatest faith, having faith in God's word and it's authority alone, not demanding any physical evidence that it will happen.
"Doubting Thomas" in the Bible had the exact opposite to bulldog faith, he didn't believe unless he saw it with his eyes first. Thomas didn't believe it was Jesus standing in front of him, until Jesus held out His nail scarred hands. This is not faith, we need to believe in the word of God, because God spoke it, His word is all power, His word is truth, His word is alive. Our attitude must be, "If God said it, than I believe it, and that settles it!" Numbers 29:13 says, "God is not a man that He should lie." We have to be like that bulldog and grasp onto God's word fiercely, and not let go to all of His wonderful promises. If those promises were for that Centurion, Moses, David Abraham, then they are for us as well, God is no respecter of people found in Acts 10:34.
How did Abraham stay fully persuaded that God would come through for him, in spite of an impossible situation, he focused on God's word and refused to pay attention to natural circumstances. Abraham did not flip flop back and forth from faith to fear or doubt, he stood firm. It's like saying "I know what I know and that's all there is to it," no matter what other people may say or think, God is a God of His word. You can have this same kind of faith girlfriends, repeat this: 1. "I totally agree with everything God has said about me in His word." 2. "I totally agree with God's word that I am healed." 3. "I totally agree with God's word that I am prosperous." 4. "I totally agree with God's word that I am redeemed."
Bulldog faith is aggressive, "The kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it." (Matt. 11:12 NIV) Bulldog faith bites down and won't let go, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering." (Hebrews 10:23 KJV) Bulldog faith does not take no for an answer, "This is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith." (John 5:4 NKJV) Bulldog faith is fully persuaded, "And being fully persuaded that, what He has promised, He was able also to perform." (Romans 4:21 KJV) Bulldog faith takes it, "How long are you going to sit around on your hands, putting off taking possession of the land that God has given you?" (Joshua 18:3 MSG)
Girlfriends, what are you praying for, believing for today? Go after it with that bulldog tenacity, that you will not let go until God brings it to pass. God is ready, willing and able to do what He says He will do, now it's all up to you to stand on it and do not budge, no matter what, Amen?
Let's Pray,
Father God, I thank You for another day to praise You and exalt You for who You are in all of Your glory. Lord, I lift up each and every individual to You that are going through some pretty heavy and hard situations. Lord, let them rise up with a bulldog like faith that will even surprise themselves, as they watch and see how You almighty God will bring a miracle out of their situation in the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on. Pass this message on to others. I would love to hear your comments on how God brought out a miracle from your situation. That is just what our God does, He is a miracle working God!
