Change Is In The Air

"And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Luke 21:25-26 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

As we have already approached the month of September, the air is quickly changing to that crisp, cool, dewy temperature in which a cozy sweater is added to the morning routine as one gets ready for a new day. Switching from the summer colors of outside decorations and flowers, to the beautiful arrays of the fall reds, oranges and yellows, sure brightens up the front door and yard in a beautiful new way.

Driving home from town the other day, I found myself looking up into the sky as I very often do, I found myself looking at this cloud that looked just like a huge wave that one would see a surfer riding. Pondering on that beautiful cloud, I said to myself, "the tides are changing, big things are taking place," as I continued to make my way home. That very same night I had a dream that my daughter kept tapping me on the shoulder to turn around, and as I did, she held in her hands two wine glasses and a candle which she sat down, and filled the two glasses up with apple juice, it was time to celebrate.

Girlfriends, I believe that there are many changes that are taking place, not only in our fall season that we are now entering but also in a spiritual kind of season as well. Since we have had all of these events that have taken place over the last two years, that has brought about so may different changes in our lives and society, I believe it has caused many people to do some searching to find some truth to it all, what's going on behind the scenes to what is not being said. But not only that, it has been causing people to look for answers to questions that they have been wondering about for many years, to how people that may live right next door to them, can be so excited and happy and do not seem to be worried about the events that have turned the world upside down.

Truth has been coming out in every direction about many people who sit in high places, that have been doing some crooked and unruly things in secret. God is a loving Father, just as a parent on earth loves their children, and the parent tells the child not to do that behavior again, or there will be a recompense, it is the same with our Heavenly Father, He too sees what is going on with His children that may not be pleasing to Him and there too will be a recompense.

Girlfriends, it is a serious time that we must make sure we are on the right side of our Heavenly Father, that we have asked for forgiveness of any wrong doing, so that we are able to stand before Him in right standing. This is also a time in this new season in which many supernatural blessings are coming our way as well. This is a new season where there will be new relationships that will be established, this is a season that new ministries are coming up on the horizon, this is a new season where some will be making a physical move in their living location. For some it will be a new season where you will see your loved ones come to the Lord, a new season to receive that new baby that you have always prayed to have, and this is a new season for that new business to spring forth that you have dreamt about.

Not only do we feel a change in the weather, but we can see it as well, even by how the animals are acting as they are getting themselves prepared for the season change, chipmunks are storing their nuts in the ground for winter, the geese are beginning to store up for their long journey south, it's close to rutting season for the moose. There are so many signs that are all around us if we take the time to look and listen for it.

Isaiah 13:13 tells us, "Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, at the wrath of the LORD of hosts in the day of his fierce wrath. Have we not felt a shaking in the last couple of years or so, a shaking to make sure that our lives as a believer is up to what the word of God says. This has not only happened in our generation but from the days of the events that took place in the Bible as well, they had great shakings, time to get their lives right before the Lord. God always gives time for us to repent of things that may not be right.

God also tells us in Isaiah 43:19 that He is doing a new thing, can we not perceive it. Can we see the new thing that God is doing on the earth and in even our own personal lives. We may not understand it all right now, because His ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours as God declares in Isaiah 55:8-9, but for sure, we can see and feel that there is a change in the air, Amen?

Let's Pray,

Father God, I praise You Lord for your greatness of who You are. Lord, I'm so thankful that your ways and thoughts are higher than mine, that you have a perfect plan for my life and you know what you are doing to make it all turn out the way you have planned it to. Lord, help each and every one of your children to see and hear as well as feel the change that is in the air for our lives. Lord, let the wind be at our back to blow us right into the place and space that you have for each one. Lord, help us to embrace the changes that are taking place in our lives, whether we understand it or not, but help us to remember that it all comes from You Lord, and that You have our best interest at heart for You know the plans that You have for each of us. Lord, I thank you for the changes for each of us, because when You are in the mix, I know that it will all turn out wonderful, and I thank you in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
