No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for us. Philippians 4:13-14 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

It has been a busy summer and now its still a busy fall, as I am still tidying things up from our Thanksgiving dinner. Only few cobs of corn are left to break down and get ready for the freezer to have for winter. The summer lawn chairs are all put away for another season, plastic is being put on windows to help those drafty places. The spare room took a few days to get it tidied up from the busy summer of craft sales, now the last room in the house to tackle is my bedroom. Clothes that I haven't worn in awhile will be given away, papers that have little notes written on them will have to be gone through.

Cleaning out my movie cabinet, several children's movies went to the trash that had glimpses of magic in the stories. A couple of friends of mine and I had a burning get together around the campfire, burning anything that may have held us to our past, we were letting everything go, old papers, old pictures of past relationships, letting everything go, so we could totally move on to what is in store for us next.

Girlfriends, it is so important for us to let God clean up loose ends in us spiritually as well, after giving our life over to Him as our Savior. I'm sure that there is not one of us who has not experienced at some point in our life some kind of trauma, some may have had greater trauma than others, but it's still a painful event or events that must be thoroughly dealt with, in order to heal and to be able to move on in life freely, so to live happy and free from all of the past garbage.

The first thing for you to acknowledge that sometimes what happens to you is not your fault, sometimes bad things happen, and then there the other times when we put ourselves in certain situations and bad things happen as well. There are two things that must be done in order to start the healing process of letting the past go, is to forgive that other person for whatever it was they had done, and forgive yourself for feeling guilty or shame, or anger, or resentment, let it all go so that you can be on the road to recovery.

You may have been in a marriage for many years and now it is coming to a close, it's still hard to just let all the feelings you have had for this person to go, but once you do, and you forgive them, then you will be able to slowly move on with the next step that takes place and that is starting over. There may be some paperwork that will have to be done, some arrangements will need to be made for living quarters, but know this that God will help direct your steps every step of the way.

Maybe your marriage or relationship ended many years ago and there has never been anything done for closure, these loose ends will need to be cleaned up in order for you to move forward freely, without being attached or tied down to that person.

That old saying that says "Time Heals," is true to some point, in some cases, but when we allow God to come in and do the rest of the clean up in those certain parts of our hearts, we will know when we are totally free, because it will not drag us down in our thoughts, or in our talk, we will be totally set free to move forward to what God has for us. (Isaiah 43:18) God sent His son Jesus, who died for us so that we could live free from sin, sickness, disease, and hurt, pain, disappointment, we need to receive what was already done so many years ago, Amen?

Have you started cleaning up a messy room and focused on the mess, or do you keep your focus on the way you want to see it cleaned up. It's like our lives, God doesn't want us to focus on the messes we may have made, or things we have allowed to happen in our lives, but to focus on what He is doing each and every day in our life as we press on towards the mark, as we allow Him to clean us up and clean out all the hurts and disappointments that came from past experiences. Job 17:9 says that the righteous shall move onward and forward; those with pure hearts shall become stronger and stronger.

Girlfriends, give your hurts and disappointments to God, forgive those who brought on the hurt, and release yourself so that you will be able to move on free, happy and alive like never before. Have a burning party so to say, as you let go of things of the past and you will be free to soar and shine like never before.

Let's Pray,

father God, I will praise you all the days of my life. I worship you Lord in spirit and in truth. Lord, I lift up each sweet dear soul to you today, that has been having a hard time of letting go of things of the past. Lord, I'm believing that as you come into their presence right now in the Mighty name of Jesus, that they will release everything over to you right now, so that they will feel the freedom of all the hurt, anger, disappointment that they have been holding onto, and also as they forgive those who have hurt them, and forgive themselves, a freedom will come like they have never experienced before. Lord, I believe that you have great things in store for them, and I speak mighty blessings over them right now, as they see their lives transform right before them, so that they will be able to move forward in freedom and soar like the eagles, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Be blessed and pass the blessings on. thank you for passing this message on.
