You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light (of Gods favor) will shine upon your ways. Job 22:28 Amplified Bible
Good Morning Girlfriends:
What does it mean to "decree a thing" in the Bible you might ask, it is an order usually having the force of law a judicial decree by royal decree, a foreordaining will Gods decree.
There is power in our words, have you ever caught yourself saying "I'm worried...I can't...I'm always tired...I don't want this to happen...What if...I have a certain diagnosis...I don't like...I'm sick. The word of God says that "A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul." (Prov. 18:7) "A man shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat its fruit." (Prov. 18:20-21) "The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity so is the tongue among our members, that is defileth the whole body and setteth on fire the course of nature it is set on fire of hell." (James 3:6) "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." (Prov. 21:23) "I create the fruit of the lips." (Isaiah 57:19) "Pleasant words are like honeycomb, sweet to the being, and healing to the bones." (Prov. 16:24)
A decree is taking Gods word and speaking it out loud into the atmosphere. We have been given the authority from Jesus to make a decree and speak it into our world and as we do , we begin to create the will of God in our life in the spiritual realm. Here are a few scriptures about making a decree. Our main verse Job 22:28 says decree a thing and it shall be established..."God confirms the word of His servant." Isaiah 44:26..."My word shall not return void but accomplish all it is sent forth to do." Isaiah 55:11..."Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding His voice of His word." Psalm 103:20
Girlfriends, decrees create and make changes in the Spiritual and the physical realm for things to happen. It is a powerful force when we speak our God's scriptures to create and change things when it's spoken out. We have the choice of whether we will speak out God's word or whether we will speak words of negativity, it is our choice in which way we will see the outcome of what we speak. Jesus said the words that we speak with our mouth are spirit and they are life, (if we speak life words) the substance of our words goes out into the spiritual realm and it starts to create life. Remember this verse Isaiah 55:11, "My word shall not return void but accomplish all it is sent forth to do." You see in order to have what the Bible says, God says, we have to speak it out.
When we decree a word, it releases Angels to work on it. "Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word," Psalm 103:20. When we speak God's promises into our situations, the angels respond to those words of life spoken by us, then the angels has something to work with to accomplish God's will in our life. They obey the word of God that is spoken out, then the angels go out on our behalf to carry out those words.
Like it was said at the very beginning, our words have power, it is our choice which words we come into agreement with. In order to have great changes in our favor, we must speak out the word of God over every situation we face so that God will dispatch His angels to bring His word to pass in our life.
Let's Pray,
Father God, I praise You and I thank You for Your holy word, Your word of truth. Lord, as we stand upon Your word of truth, we will see many wonderful and powerful changes in our lives. Lord I speak out that each one of is blessed, we are highly favored, we sit in heavenly places, we are the righteous of God, we are Your sons and daughters, we are made in Your image. Lord, I declare and decree divine health, wealth over each and every one of us. Lord, let us continue to only speak out Your word over our situations so that the miraculous hand of God will move in each of our lives, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on to every one you meet.
