"My thoughts," says the Lord, "are not like yours," and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thoughts above yours." Isaiah 55:8-9 Good News Translation
Good Morning Girlfriends:
The "Jack in the Box" was a great toy, so many years ago every household seemed to have one. The box started out being closed, and one would turn and turn the crank on the side of the box as a melody played, until the crank went around one last time, and out popped the little guy out of the box as laughter and giggles could be heard around the room. The lid would be slammed shut, as the process started all over, and every time greater giggles erupted as the little guy popped up and out of the box.
Do you remember the toy that most households had for their children, it was the round toy that held many different shapes inside of it, and it had to be twisted in order for the shapes to come out, then as a shaped was picked up, the child would try to find the correct shaped hole that matched the shape. Little hands would pick up a shape and try to ram it a hole that was not the correct one, as the ball would be moved around and around until the right one was found. Isn't that just like many of us as people, we are going in different directions looking to see where we might fit in.
Growing up I had my share of friends, reaching high school was a different ball game so to say. There were different "clicks" in school and if you weren't like them, you didn't belong. If you didn't dress like them, you weren't good enough, if you didn't have a good last name, in their eyes, you didn't fit in, and if you didn't come from money, you didn't fit in, it's kind of the same today, isn't it. As a teen I was told that I wore too much make up, I was made fun of because I had freckles and wore glasses, people can be mean sometimes don't you find, I felt like the black sheep of the family.
As each one of us grow into the person we are today, when we turn our lives over to Jesus, it is then that we begin to understand that He made each and everyone of us different in our own unique way and we should be proud of who we are. We have to remember that even Jesus come in the way that the Pharisees thought he would, He proclaimed to be a king but He wore a robe and sandals. Walking on this earth, Jesus did not have a home to call His own, He walked among the people.
Reading a prophetic word this morning, the Lord was speaking and He was bringing out these words, that there are many in the body of Christ that have felt like they do not fit in, they are like that square peg trying to fit in the round hole, the have been labeled as "the misfits." Trying to conform, to change, for what they carry is, "too different," or doesn't fit a 'way' or a 'style,' or a 'mold.' God continued to say that many of these people have lived under condemnation and apology for who they are and what they carry. They feel like they have to hide because of feeling like they are out of place and misplaced. God also spoke out that He is removing those labels that people have put on them and God Himself is raising those people up in this season to shine, He is revealing the mark that He has placed on each one, His spirit, His presence, His glory. These people have such a deep relationship with the Lord, with His heart, to His word and others were not ready to receive what they carry.
Girlfriends, the Lord is bringing these special, unique individuals out of the box to shine in His glory like never before. God is revealing them, for who they are in Christ Jesus. God is moving them out in front to shine, like they have never shined before, because they carry the glory of the Lord, and what they carry is just what this world needs now more than ever. Girlfriend, is that you? Fitting in is just ordinary, so instead of fitting in why not "fit out," be brave to stand out, be who Jesus made you to be, be the oddball so to say, Jesus has a purpose for each one. Be as bold as a lion, the lion is the king of the jungle, be bold. God had a purpose when He sent Jesus to die on the cross, so it's the same way for you, He has had a purpose for your life since the foundation of the world.
I've come to town to tell you, it's your time to shine, this is your moment, God is moving you out in this season, you are His special anointed one. Don't be ashamed to be who you are, because it was God Himself who formed you, He created you to be special, so walk in it. Jesus did not fit in a box and neither do you, Jesus broke the mold and since each of us were made in His likeness, we too broke that mold. Shine like you've never shone before, be the person that Jesus made you to be, and show that special love that you carry, the love of Jesus, Amen?
Let's Pray,
Precious Jesus, I thank You that You made each of us in our own unique way. Lord, I thank You that we are all precious in Your sight. Lord, I am so ever thankful that even as the world may see us as misfits or different, that You see us as Your own special creation and You see that what You made is good. The only thing that matters is how You see each and every one of us, what You think about us. Lord there is no other God like You who is worthy to be praised. Lord, I thank You that You are moving those special people that have been hidden for so long, out front for the world to see, and that You are using them in that special way that will only glorify You. I honor You in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on to others. Thank you in advance for passing this message on to others.
