So submit to (the authority of) God. Resist the devil (stand firm against him) and he will flee from you. James 4:7 Amplified Bible
Good Morning Girlfriends:
Being a loving parent, we do not want to see anything happen to our children, we try to do everything in our power to keep them safe. My son who was in elementary school, came home one day telling all about his day. I was not expecting the story that was unfolding before me, as he proceeded to tell me there were three boys that were bullying him and trying pick fights with him. Now we as parents cannot be at the school everyday to keep a watch over our children, but there are precautions that we can put in place. I decided to call the school and talk to the principal to make sure that he was informed about what was going on, as I released the names of the three boys. I thought that if the people in charge at the school was aware, they could talk to the other boys, letting them know they would be watching.
That night I had explained to my son that I did not condone fighting, and I would not back him up if he was to ever start a fight, but I had let him know that if he had ever found himself backed into a corner, I was there for him and I would stand behind him. I didn't mean physically but I would support him if he had to "come out swinging" in order to protect himself. What a sad day it was when this scene at school did take place. Those three boys had my son pushed into a corner of the school out on the playground, and my son came out swinging only to have the teacher come to the rescue because she had seen how it happened and the boys were all separated and took into the school. I was so thankful that this situation was dealt with quite quickly, as parents were called for the three boys and myself as well, but thankfully it didn't happen again.
Girlfriends, this reminds me of Daniel's prayer in the Bible, when he was praying for his people, he had a vision that had to do with his people in the latter days. Daniel had prayed asking God to give him spiritual understanding and he set his heart to understand, but he did not receive the answer to his prayer because of interference. Daniel fasted and prayed but he was unaware of what was going on in the spiritual world, until God had a spiritual messenger sent to Daniel explaining what had happened.
It was explained that Daniel's prayer had went up to God, but there was a battle that took place between God's angel and the demonic principality. Daniel had not given up in continuing to pray for this situation, so that Daniel's answer to his prayer was released. This is found in Daniel 10:12-14, "Then he said to me, "Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words."
It is the same way for us when we are praying about a situation, when we release our prayer up to God, we are to continue to pray about the situation or I should say we are to declare God's word, His promises over the situation so that it will come to pass, and that much quicker. There is power in the word of God when we speak it out into the atmosphere, when we declare His word, we are coming into agreement with it, and that is us standing in faith in God's word that we will see our prayer come to pass.
It's the same way when we pray over our own body when we feel something attacking it such as a headache or a cold or aches and pains, we have to attack those things by declaring what God's word says about these things, we have the authority and the quicker we are on it, the quicker we will see the release of it, Amen? We have to be quick on our toes to see the attack of the enemy so we will not be defeated. He will continue to try to put things on us, he will continue to cause strife in our families in our relationships and marriages, in our job place, we have to be quick to speak out the word of God over each and every situation to break his attacks.
I thank God, that He does hear and answer our prayers, but we always need to stay humble before Him just as Daniel was. Remember it says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We are living in a time that we cannot stand down, we must stand up and fight!
Let's Pray,
Father God, I praise You for You are worthy and there is no other God above You that is worthy, You and You alone shall be praised. Lord, I lift up everyone to You that has lifted up a prayer to You, Lord, give them a supernatural strength to continue to pray for that situation as they praise You and thank You for the answer. Let Your word come out of their mouth as they declare the word of God over their situation to see the glory of the Lord come through, and we thank You in advance for answered prayers in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Be blessed, and pass the blessings on as you pass this blessing on as well.
