You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian. For people will love only themselves and their money; they will be proud and boastful, sneering at God, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful to them, and thoroughly bad. They will be hardheaded and never give into others; they will be constant liars and troublemakers and will think nothing of immorality. They will be rough and cruel, and sneer at those who try to do good. They will betray their friends; they will be hotheaded, puffed up with pride, and prefer good times to worshipping God. They will go to church, yes, but they won't really believe anything they hear. Don't be taken in by people like that. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Let's take a little trip down memory lane for a moment, as I share a tidbit of my story with you. I'm going back quite a few years ago now, as I'm thinking back on the different times I had been at the same place as this young man was, we had exchanged words each time, and I wondered who he was and what he was all about. Exchanging phone numbers, we began to get to know one another for a period of time over the phone. As time had went by, we were growing fonder and fonder for one another and I was falling in love with him, as we continued to discuss what our life would be like serving and working for the Lord.

Sometimes it feels like forever when one is waiting for the wedding day to take place, but as soon as it does there seems to be a sigh of relief. It wasn't too long before little things started to come out, different behaviors began to come out, little actions began to surface, words were said that were not matching up with ones story. Most of the time we were together, where you saw one you would see the other, but there were these odd times when there would be late night drives that were taken and with no real explanation to why they were taken.

I do want to share that we had talked about our pasts with one another, not holding anything against each other, because the past is supposed to stay in the past when you have given your life over to the Lord and are living for Him. (Isaiah 43:18-19) When we give our life over to the Lord and allow Him to work on us on the inside, we become a new creation in Him, 2 Cor. 5:17, Ephesians 2:10) As things were coming clearer and clearer, old behaviors were coming out again. There were influencers who were connected to our relationship and they were not showing to be very good ones.

Needless to say girlfriends, I did not give in to anything that was not looking like what the word of God says. It did mean the marriage was no longer, too many things were happening that were not lining up with the word of God. My love and obedience to the Lord is far greater to me than a marriage, sad as that sounds, but God comes first and He should when a person is truly living for Him. Girlfriends, we have to have our eyes and ears open in these last days, completely open. The first thing we need to do in any situation, is to ask God if this person, this job, this relationship, this situation is of Him.

I can happily say, that I have been praying for this person and the situation, we have to remember that each soul was made by God and we are to pray for them, in hopes that they will change, there is always hope. There are many women right now that have and are dealing with this very situation right now. I encourage you to stick close to the Lord both day and night, reading His word closely as to not be overtaken by this darkness. Pray for those who persecute you, found in Matthew 5:44, climb higher in the Lord, and do not bow or succumb to the evil ways of people, no matter what other people may think. Seek God, listen to what He says and what His word says, and He will always lead you through to the other side of any situation you may be facing, Amen.

The enemy wants to come in like a thief and steal your peace, your joy, your compassion, your love, your love for the Lord, and we have to be the ones who put the devil to a stop, stop him in his tracks and say no more, you are defeated in Jesus name. We have to stand up against his lies, his deceitful ways, the people he may put in our path before it gets out of hand. Keep your eyes and ears open at all times, so that you are aware of your surroundings, who you are talking to. The word says, by their fruits you shall know them, found in Matthew 7:16-20. Before making any hasty decision, seek the Lord, see what He says about it, Matthew 7:7-12, so there will be less chance of making the wrong decision.

God is always merciful, (Deut. 4:31) and He watches over us to keep us safe and He protects us from harm. (Psalm 121:5-8) Be watchful girlfriends, stay in the word so that you know when the enemy is lurking, Amen?

Father God, I thank You for Your living word. Lord, I thank You for another day to praise Your holy name. Lord, I lift up each one who has been bamboozled by the enemy. Lord I ask that You would help them to see the enemies lies and his traps. Lord, I ask that You would give each person eyes to see, and ears to hear when the enemy is speaking even when it is through people that they are very close to. Lord make a way where there seems to be no way of escape for them in Jesus name. I thank You Lord for Your protection over them and I thank You for bringing them out of that situation right now in Jesus name, Amen.
