For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. Psalm 145:13 New Living Translation
Good Morning Girlfriends:
As I was coming into consciousness this morning, I caught a glimpse of God's beautiful rainbow which expanded before me in all of its wonderful colors. The rainbow has always represented the promise, that the earth will never be flooded again. As I began to open my eyes, I began to think about all of God's wonderful promises in the Bible that are for each of us. I began to reflect on the things that I personally have been praying for in my own life, then I began to declare God's promises over everything that I am waiting to see come to pass. Let's reflect on some of God's promises that He has for our daily lives.
God promises to "strengthen us" as it says in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Anytime we are going through something hard, or stressful, God promises us that He is with us and we can draw our strength from Him. (NIV)
God promises to "give us rest" in Matt. 28-29, "Come to me and I will give you rest-all you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke-for it fits perfectly-and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble , and you shall find rest for your souls." When we have a lot of things going on, we are reassured that we can find rest in Jesus and we will find peace in every situation. (The Living Bible)
God promises that "He will take care of all our needs," Phil. 4:19 tells us straight up, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." (ESV) He doesn't promise to meet just some of our needs but all of them, why, because He's a good God.
God promises that "He will answer our prayers" as we can find this scripture in Matt.7:7 where it says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (NIV) Over in Prov. 15:29 it reminds us that "The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayers of the righteous." (NLT) Who are the righteous, you and me who are living according to God's principals, to His word.
Another one of God's promises is that He will work everything our for our good, and we can find this in Rom. 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." (NIV) If you love God, you can trust that He is working for your good, and He loves you back, and when we love people, we seek their welfare too. Living for God means we are called according to His purpose, He has a purpose for us and our life. Our purpose is helping further the kingdom of God.
God's promise is "to be with you" and we can find this scripture in Deut. 31:6 (NLT) "So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you or abandon you." When we are facing a situation, God has already promised us that He has already went before us, clearing the way, making sure everything is good, so we don't have to worry but be strong and courageous knowing that He is right there with us. Also read Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9.
Another one of God's promises for us, is that "He will protect us" and we can find a scripture in Psalm 32:7 ESV "You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance." He is our hiding place, just as a father or a mother is a hiding place for a child when they are scared, they hide behind a parent, they are a protector for the child, and that is what God is for us our protector. Also read Psalm 18:10, 2 Samuel 22:3-4,Isaiah 54:17.
Another of God's promise for us is that there is "freedom from sin" "Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses." Luke 13:38-39 NIV When we have given our life over to Jesus, because of what He accomplished on the cross, we are set free from sins, and who the son set free is free indeed found in John 8:36. Galatians 5:1 tells us "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. stand firm, then, and do not let yourself be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Thank you Jesus, we are free!
Girlfriends, of course these are just a few of the many promises that God has for us. You may be looking for a promise about a spouse, a promise about having a child, a promise for your children that you already have, a promise for a home, a job, or a promise about healing for your body. There is a promise that God has for each and every one of the things that we may be searching for. God's word is truth, His word does not lie, His promises are something we can stand on and see it come to pass. Our God is a God who always comes through for us, when we believe, and we have to believe in God and His living word.
Girlfriends, whatever you are praying about, searching for, stand on a scripture, read it out loud, declare it out loud and watch it come alive in your life, over your situations, over your problems, over your health, over your children, whatever it is, when we declare the word of God things are going to happen, only believe, Amen.
Let's Pray,
Father God, I praise you Lord, and I thank you for this beautiful day. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Lord I thank you for all of your wonderful promises that you have given to us to stand on. Your word is alive, it is truth and your word never fails. So I declare that whatever each person is believing for, for their life, I stand in agreement with them to see it come to pass. Your says that when two or three are gather together, touching any one thing, there you are in the midst and it shall be done for your glory Lord, for your glory alone, in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Be blessed and pass the blessings on to those you are in contact with. Thank you for passing this message on. Have a blessed day.
