So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Galatians 6:9 NLT

Good Morning Girlfriends:

What a great morning to be looking up, that's what I was doing as I went out to start the car, the sky was filled with so many textures of clouds that blanketed the morning sky. I have always found the sky so amazing to look at, as the clouds, the color can change within minutes and even seconds from just one glance. As I was driving my son-in-law to be to work, we were awestruck at the beautiful array of colors as the clouds were meshed together in different textures but were formed together. We were only minutes to our destination, as I dropped him off and was on my way back home I had noticed how quickly all those beautiful colors and textures of clouds were gone that had filled the sky only minutes before.

The weather is now changing as it is getting colder in the mornings, light frost is covering the vehicle windows, that has to have the heat on it to blast it off. I have noticed it seems to be harder and harder to get up each morning, to drive someone else to work, when I don't have to go myself, I would love to stay all cuddled up in the warm blankets and continue to sleep. I have a friend who did the very same thing a few years ago, she would get up each morning to drive two women to work, to help them out because they didn't have vehicles.

Whenever I go to visit someone, whether it's family or a friend, and they are doing something, I always find myself asking the question, "how can I help?' As I have been told from my girls, that I will just jump right in there and start doing things, like folding that basket of laundry that is sitting on the couch, taking a glass to the kitchen, or washing the few dishes in the sink, I enjoy doing the little things to help.

Girlfriends, even though it is good for us to do good in helping others, sometimes we do get tired in doing so, but that's not the only thing God is telling us when He says to not give up from doing good that we will reap a harvest in the right time, if we don't give up, as we are doing good things for other people, we are also doing it to God, it is making Him happy. Think back over the years at how many people you have helped, think about what ever it was that you did, and how that made that person feel. It may have brought them joy, happiness, comfort, peace, you may have taken a load off of that person, you may have just spoken a word of kindness or encouragement to get them over that next hurdle they were dealing with.

There are so many hurt, broken and down hearted people in the world and we need to do whatever it is we can in order to help these people. Never stop giving that smile to the person you meet on the street or the grocery store, jump right in there to help that mother of three with her children at the grocery store, or helping an elderly person across the street to get to their car, we can always cook a casserole or a soup for that sick neighbor down the road. How many elderly people do you know that would just love to have a visit as you listen to all of their stories of days gone by, when they were growing up. There are so many different ways we can help people, if we just take the time and do it, we will certainly be rewarded for doing so. Think about how good you feel by helping someone who is in need, it is truly satisfying. So ask yourself the question today, "How can I help," and as you do, remember, those we help, we are not only helping them, we will reap the harvest and it also will bring glory to God.

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for each person that you put in our lives, in the different seasons of our life, I thank you Lord that you have given me the desire to help people by praying for them in whatever way I can. Lord I lift up that tired mother that is weary of trying to do too much, I speak rest over her and a peace that would fill her soul, that she will realize she is doing enough. I pray for the nurses in the hospitals and the nursing homes, that Lord you would touch them to give them up and above compassion for the people that they care for each day, and that they would love on their patients sharing words of kindness every time they walk into a room. I pray for each young person today that may be weary from the fight of what life has to offer, I speak a strength to come into you to help you to keep pushing on and that you would never give up as you grow stronger in the fight of life. I pray for the older people, that you would have one more word of encouragement for the younger generation and that the young would have the ears to hear in the Mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Be blessed sweet ladies and pass the blessings on, you are needed in these last days.
