It's A Brand New Day

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 What a glorious day to be alive, there is an excitement in the air, there is change in the air. All over the world there are many things that are happening, wars, famines, shootings, perversions of every kind that smother our land, we know all of these things are spoken about in the word of God. Yes, these are all horrific things that are taking place and it's because of the demonic that also roams the land, seeking out where it can land and what person it can use for its agenda. More and more witchcraft has been rising, curses, spells have been spoken, but on the other side of this, so is the church, yes that's right, the body of Christ is rising up to take their rightful place in these last days in order to see the glory of the Lord. The ones who are on the Lord's side are also fighting, but it's a fight that we do in prayer that pushes back the darkness.

We need to change our perspective on a few things, as all of these wicked things are taking place, we also know what the word of God says that God is greater. Malachi 1:11 says this, "For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts." Just think about it, on that marvelous day where it talks about it in Romans 14:11, For It is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE WILL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD." Can't you hear the power in that verse, it says EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD!

Girlfriends, as we change our focus, our perspective on the way that we see things, when we declare God's word over our situations, that is when we will see our situations change. When we feel weak, we are strong, why...because of Jesus, He is our strength when we call upon Him, He is our strong and mighty tower.(Prov. 18:10) I was on the phone with a friend this morning and we were discussing the very same thing, that this is a new day. We prayed and agreed together that the LORD would show us great and mighty things found in Jeremiah 33:3. We are both believing for a convertible, she would like a red or yellow one and I would love to have a hot pink one, that is what we are believing together for, because we came into agreement. God's word says that when two or three gather in my name, touching, or agreeing on any one thing, there God is in the midst. (Matt. 18:19-20) There is such power in the prayer of agreement, it is the vehicle in which we invite the Holy Spirit to be with us, I like that.

This is a brand new day to see things differently, to get things turned around in our lives, it's a new day to make some changes that have been needing to be done. It is a new day to open up one's heart to hear what God has been speaking about that relationship, about that job change, it's a new day to listen to the one who says every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. It is a new day to start believing for things like never before, for that new relationship, for that new car, for that new home, for that new property that has your name on it. It's a new day to start praising the Lord like never before, for all of the things that He has already done in your life as well as for the things that He is going to do and is doing right now, but you just aren't able to see it but you will. Can I get a shout, Praise You Lord!

This is a brand new day to surrender your life to Jesus, if you have not already done so, and it is a new day to come back to Him, if you have fallen away just a bit, Jesus is standing with His arms open wide, He's been there the whole time just waiting for you to come and receive Him. It has been Jesus who has been knocking at your hearts door this whole time, (Rev. 3:20) let this be the new day that you open the door to Him, He loves you, He really does and He is waiting for you.

Father God, how I praise You this morning and every morning that You give me a new day to glorify and worship You, the creator of the heavens and the earth. Lord, I thank You that You are raising up new men and women to be placed in the high places of government, schools, as doctors, lawyers and police officers. Lord, You are setting down the proud and You are raising up the humble. For Your word says, the first shall be last and the last shall be first. I thank You Lord for what You are doing in this season for You are still on the thrown and You are worthy to be praised, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
