It's A New Day

Good Morning Girlfriends:

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24, this is a wonderful passage to proclaim to the Lord that we are glad to be alive, no matter what is going on around us, no matter what weapons the enemy is trying to throw at us, we know that we have authority over the enemy and we can laugh at the devil when we know his tactics because we know who we are in Christ.

God is so good, He will deliver us from our enemies when we call upon His name, we can find these scriptures in Psalm 18:12, Psalm 27:12, and Rev. 17:4 to name a few. I wanted to share a real happening with you that happened many years ago, when my husband, (the one that had passed years ago) was ministering in a nearby city from where he lived at the time.

When the worship service was coming to a close as the word of God was going to be brought forth, a man had swayed and stumbled his way into the room, as he found a seat, my husband could tell that the man was quite intoxicated, but he wanted to welcome him to the service and let the man know that he had come to the right place. During the message, my husband had walked down the aisle to where the man was sitting and had laid his hand on him and prayed over the man and his condition, then went back up to the front of the room and continued on with his message.

My husband had shared, that many people came to the altar that night for prayer, to be released from whatever it was that was hurting them, binding them, holding them from being free, and as he began to for for each one who came forth, they were set free. Later on my husband had noticed that the same man who came in the service under the influence, had walked up to the front of the room and declared from his own mouth that he had been set free from alcohol as he continued to describe what God had done through him that night as he sat in his seat, that's the true power of God, and nobody could take his testimony away from what he felt the Lord do in his body. That's something to praise God for right there.

Girlfriends, there is wonder working power when it comes to the Lord, He is all power, He is all authority, He is all grace and mercy, He is all love and He is all just, there is nothing that our God can't do. (Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37, Mark 10:27)

Whatever your mountain is, and whatever it is that imprisons you, Jesus is the one who has the power and the keys to move the mountain and unlock the door. Miracles are possible, freedom is possible and breakthroughs are possible...in Jesus' name there is nothing that God can't do. Let that sink in, there is nothing that He can't do. You maybe thinking, Yeah but you don't know where I've been or what I've done, God wouldn't help someone like me...But I have come to town today to tell you that "Yes He can and Yes He will," just at the mention of His name, all you have to do is call out to Him and watch what happens, Amen.

Father God, I come to You today with a heart of praise as I lift up Your holy name for Your name is above any other name. Lord, I lift up to You any dear soul that is reading this today that thinks that You will not help them because of all the things that they have done, I take authority over those lies that the devil has spoken to them, because Your word says that You have come to set the captives free, and who ever is set free is free indeed, it is written. To the one who wants to be set free in your mind, I take authority over your cloudy thinking and speak the name of Jesus over it. To the one who wants to be set free from depression, I take authority over that spirit in Jesus mighty name and call you healed in Jesus name and that the joy of the Lord shall fill your soul. To the sweet one who wants deliverance from drug abuse, I curse that spirit at the roots in Jesus name and I break it off of you in the mighty name of Jesus and let the sweet love of Jesus wash all over you and through you, and let your nostrils be filled with the smell of roses, I declare in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
