"But when it became light outside, I saw that it wasn't my son at all." 1 Kings 3:21 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

My stomach churns every time I read the passage about the two women who lived together in the same house who each had a baby and one of the women's babies dies. (1 Kings 3:1-28) This was in a time when King David had passed away and his son Solomon was appointed to be king. The Lord had come to Solomon in a dream and had asked Solomon to ask God for anything and it would be given to him. In the dream Solomon had spoken about the kingdom that he reigned over was so big, that he asked for wisdom so that he would know the difference between right and wrong, so that he would be able to govern the people well.

When these two women had came to King Solomon telling him about the dilemma that they were in, it was going to be up to King Solomon to figure out the best way to handle the situation. The first woman who was the real mother to the baby that was alive told the story. She started by saying that she had just recently had a baby and then three days after the other woman had a baby as well. In the night the other mother had rolled over on her baby and it smothered and died. She continued to share that the other mother got up in the night and switched the two babies, leaving the mother who was telling the story, with the dead baby.

The mother continued by saying, in the morning when she went to feed her baby, it was dead, but when it became morning, she could see that it was indeed not her baby but it was the other woman's baby. The other mother began to disagree with her to King Solomon saying that it was not so that she was lying and her baby was the one that was alive. They began to argue in front of the king, trying to make King Solomon believe each of their story.

It was when King Solomon had asked for a sword to be brought forth, and that the child would be divided in half so that each woman would have half of the child, when the real mother cried out for him not to kill the baby, she was willing to let the other woman have her baby so that it could live. The other mother was more than willing to let this horrible thing happen to the baby, and that is when King Solomon knew who the real mother was, the one who wanted the baby to live. That was unconditional love, and King Solomon gave the baby to the real mother. King Solomon was well known across the land for his great wisdom that was from the Lord.

Girlfriends, have you ever found yourself in a situation where you just want nothing more than your side of the story to be heard, and you wonder if anyone is really listening? That old saying that says, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." Well, in most cases it does, but in some cases it is better to just sit back and wait, knowing that God knows all and sees all (Prov. 15:3), we can rest in Him knowing that when we are His child, He will always come to our rescue and work that situation out. It may not be how we expected it to work out, but it may be even better than what we could have ever thought it would turn out to be.

God see the beginning to the end, and in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 it says that "He sees what is behind and what is ahead, all the threats all the dangers. God will every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil." God sees everything what goes on behind closed doors, whether good or bad, He knows. You see the woman whose baby had died didn't expect to be found out on what she had done, but God had given Solomon such wisdom to know the difference as he made his decision, lies are always revealed.

God, too knows what you are facing, He knows what you have been through, He's seen it all, because He's been with you every step of the way. We must remember that when we are a child of God and when we are serving Him whole heartedly, there is nothing that God won't do for us, His child. As a mother who loves her sweet child, there is nothing that you wouldn't do for that child, God is our Heavenly Father and He is the one who fights for us. (Deut. 3:22, Exodus 14:14, 2 Chron. 20:17) We have the victory over every battle because of Christ Jesus, and the battle is the Lord's amen?

Girlfriends, get your praise on, wave the victory flag and give a big victory shout, for the battle belongs to the Lord and the victory is yours! You can rest in the fact that He loves you, and He will always fight for one of His own, and He will never fail you, (Joshua 21:45) He will always come through, Hallelujah!!! Amen!

Let's Pray,

Father God, I give you praise Lord and I lift up your holy name, the name of Jesus. Lord, I lift up to you every sweet soul today, that is going through a situation that is difficult to sit quiet through. Lord, I declare to them today, that You are their Heavenly Father who has everything in your control, You have everything all worked out in their favor. Lord, there is nothing that is hidden from you, and I declare that every hidden thing, every lie will come forth in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I declare and decree that Your justice will prevail in each matter. The enemy may think that he has won, but I declare that he is a liar and he is defeated in the Mighty name of Jesus. Your promises to your children are "Yes and Amen." You are fighting their battle and the victory is theirs in Jesus name, Amen!

Be blessed sweet girlfriends, and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on, in hopes to bless others.
