A time to find, A time to lose, A time for keeping, A time for throwing away. Ecclesiastes 3:6 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Oh, spring is in the air, breathe it in as your face looks up to the beautiful sun cascading down on the face. The birds are chirping as they sing their sweet songs, trees are starting to bud, grass is becoming alive again and so are people as the snow is finally melted away. As spring is in the air we come alive as well as the buds on the trees.

It feels so good to take down the curtains in each room for a fresh washing as well as cleaning the windows, as they get opened up for fresh air to flow through a stagnant house that has been basically been closed up for the winter. The music is playing as one flutters through the house washing and wiping things down, it is good for the soul, not to mention the house.

As we clean thoroughly through the house we tend to come across different piles of paperwork that was neglected over the winter months and they too have be sorted through to be filed or thrown away. Sometimes the shed may need a little help as well, getting bins and boxes rearranged from things just being tossed in quick over the cold winter months. Oh, what a wonderful feeling it is to get everything cleaned up. Oh yes, and of course we can't forget about the yard, the rocks that have been piled there from the snow plow, leaves that landed there before the snow came, now it is getting ready for the lawn chairs to be placed for summer enjoyment.

Again I say, it feels so good to get things cleaned up and once again back in order, but girlfriends what about the things that we have maybe never dealt with, got rid of or cleaned up in our own personal lives. There are things that happens in our lives that we just pushed aside and put in a pile, so to say, that had never been dealt with. There may have been a conversation that had taken place a while ago that left you hurt or even the other way around. There may be past trauma that has left you so wounded, you don't know if you can get up again. What if there has been unforgiveness that you have been holding onto for so many years, because of that incident that took place. Maybe you have been so wounded that you may be wondering if there is really anyone out there for you.

Girlfriends, I don't know what you have or maybe going through, but what I do know, is there is no better time than now to do some spring cleaning within you, to get rid of, and dust out some things, and to throw some things away. This is our spring cleaning day and it starts now so that we will see things in a much better way, in order to breath in a much deeper way. Psalm 51:10 shows us that we are to ask God to "Create in me a clean heart; and renew a right spirit within me," that is where we start by asking God for His help.

Just think about how free you will feel when you let go of all your hurt, grudges, unforgiveness, anger, selfishness, bitterness, your feeling of unworthiness. I have come to town to let you know, that when you lay all of it down and you let God move in, He will clean it all up, He will take it all away, why...because you are in a place that you want to let it all go, so that you will have love, joy and peace in it's place.

There was a time in my life that I had wondered if I had done enough for my sick husband, I was thinking maybe there could have been something more I could have done before He had passed away. It was at just the right moment that God had sent someone to me that didn't know what I was thinking, this person gave me a hug and whispered in my ear, "You did everything you could have done." God knew I needed to hear those words. When we are quick to call out to God, He is quick to respond to us when we want to repent and let things go.

Girlfriends, spring is in the air and there is no better time to do a thorough spring cleaning inside and out, physically and spiritually. From my experience, you will feel like a brand new person, you will feel like you can breath again with a clean set of lungs to be able to take it all in. You will dance again, you will sing again, and you will smile again, I know, I was there. Let today be your day of a fresh, new, awakening, Amen? Let me leave you with a few scriptures for you to read: Matthew 23:25-27, 3 John 1:2, Prov. 23:7, Romans 12:2, 2 Cor. 10:5, Prov. 4:23, Prov. 27:19, Matt. 6:21, 1 Samuel 16:7, 1 Peter 3:10,Luke 6:45. Let each of us do a deep spring cleaning!

Let's Pray,

Father God, i thank You for this glorious day. Lord I lift up the name of Jesus. Lord I lift up each dear soul that has been holding onto some bags of stuff, and piles of things. Lord I pray that this would be the very day that they would let it all go to the garbage. As the garbage man comes to take away the physical garbage, Lord, let each soul call out to you to take away the spiritual garbage that has piled up over time. Lord I give You all of the praise as each one will feel like they can breath once again to their full capacity in the mighty name of Jesus I thank You, Amen.

Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on. Share with with others along the way.
