It's Time To Take Off The Mask

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed in to the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Talking with a lady friend of mine not long ago, she was sharing parts of her story of how her husband had been sick for quite some time and had not been the same man that he was when they first met, because of his sickness and she wanted to remember all of the happy days about him when he was a healthy man. As she continued to say little blurbs about her previous marriage, how one day he decided that he didn't want to stay in the marriage, and he moved on without her.

It wasn't easy being left all alone with small children to raise, a career to establish in order to look after the small family. Day in and day out she shared that as she went to work she would put on her mask as she talked to fellow employees saying that things were great and she was getting by just fine, then at the end of the work day she would return home and hang up her mask, so to say, as the reality of it she was not okay.

How many times have we heard lately of all the corruption that is going on in our government, if you listen to the news we are hearing about so many people missing, disasters going on, violence is greater than ever before, there people that are behind all of these things, evil people. It is definitely time that they were exposed, but not only that, isn't it time that some things are exposed from the inside of each of us, things we have buried down deep on the inside of us from past hurts and disappointments. Isn't it time that we get real with ourselves and let God work on us to remove all of these things that has us bogged down in life, so that we don't have to put on a mask each day to pretend everything is okay, when it's not.

Girlfriends, God is our healer and He wants to remove our hurts, pain, disappointments, and betrayls, He wants to remove it all so that we are totally set free, then we will be able to look at that co-worker and say that you are fine and mean it. God wants to clean us up and clean out the clutter of things that we've been hiding down deep in our hearts, so that we clean, pure and holy. There is a new year coming up very soon, why not go into the new year with no regrets, no anger, no unforgiveness, no depression, no pride, let's give everything over to God so that we will look more and more like Him as we do.

In the Bible it tells us that there are many people out in the world in sheep's clothing that are trying to trip us up with their lies and deception of the gospel, there are many false prophets that roam the earth, (Matt.7:15) and I believe they are being exposed. So as we go into the new year of 2022, let's go in a new way, cleaned up and set free, delivered of these things that may have happened so may years ago or even just recently, but God wants us to go through clean for He want to do a new thing in us and for us, amen!

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for bringing all of this to our attention. Lord let each of us be bold to let the things of the past go so that we can step into the new year free and clear of all those past things. You have already went ahead and you already know of the great and wonderful things that you have for us. I speak to all depression, hurt, anger, disappointments in the Mighty name of Jesus, I speak the blood of Jesus over each person, I take authority over these things and command them to go in Jesus mighty name. I speak the healing balm of Gilead over each persons heart as Jesus spreads the healing ointment on your heart, you are healed in Jesus name, Amen.
