Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?" And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you, depart from me, you workers of lawlessness." Matthew 7:21-23 ESV
Good Morning Girlfriends:
Around this time of year it seems to be a little harder to wake up in the mornings, because it is still so dark out, you just want to stay tucked in under the blankets. Driving to work feels kind of funny too, as it feels like it's night time as the thick clouds blanket the sky to keep everything looking so dark, until the light peaks through in certain spots.
Looking around at what is going on in the world today, more and more darkness seems to be filling the earth, as we watch the news at what has been going on in different countries. So many hidden things have been going on right under our noses, right out in plain sight and sometimes it doesn't seem like anything is being done about it.
I'm sure many of you have heard that old expression, "these are the worst of times but it's the best of times," it's kind of an old cliche that means we are living in the worst of times, which we are, because its the very last days, but we are living in the best of times, because we get to be a part of the body of Christ that prays over such situations in order to make difference in this dark world.
Look at different court cases that has come through, what a murderer would have been sentenced many years ago would have been for life and now they may get fifteen years and out on good behavior. Vandalism may only get a slap on the wrist and the person would be told not to do it again, what was illegal for drugs many years ago is now called legal, what is that all about? The word of God does tell us in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."
The word says in Prov. 8:13 says, "The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate." Over in the New Testament in Ephesians 6:12 it clearly states that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers , against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over the present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
Romans 12:21 tells us not to be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Girlfriends, we have to be so careful of what we are allowing ourselves to be exposed to in these days, because the enemy is out there with so many of his followers to take us, our children, grandchildren down, he wants as many as he can get, so it is time that we stand with a holy boldness against the devil and expose him for who he who is is and that is a liar and a defeated foe. Now is the time to remember and know who we are in Jesus, know our authority and speak it out over our country, our land, our families, our precious loved ones so that the darkness is exposed in order for it to be cast down and destroyed. We cannot let the enemy have our children or grandchildren, they are the next generation and we must fight for them, pray for them, speak over them now more than ever. We need to remember whose side we are on and who is in our corner as we do fight and that is the God that is above all things, so let's expose the darkness and as it all comes out, then the light of the world will come in, Amen?
Let's Pray,
Father God, I thank you that You are truly on our side and that You are fighting with us and for us. Lord, I lift up my family and every other family that is represented here today, that if there is any darkness that needs to be brought out, any hidden thing that it would be brought out in the mighty name of Jesus, so as it is being exposed then the light of glory can come in and make all things new. Lord, I pray for each of our family members that are not serving You right now, that each one would have a divine and personal experience with You in a very special and unique way that they will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it was God Almighty who visited them, whether it be in a dream or as they are in their car, or sitting on the sofa. Let them feel Your tangible presence in the most holy way that they will know that they have been visited by You, Lord. I thank you Precious Jesus for what You are going to do in each of their lives in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Be blessed sweet one and continue to be a blessing to others and do not stop praying and speaking over your loved ones.
