Let Your Eyes Come Open

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened And the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Isaiah 35:5 Amplified Version

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Yesterday after lunch , a friend had called me telling me that their septic was backed up and they were not sure where the problem was or what they were going to do in order to get it fixed. I thought to myself that it sounded like there was a blockage somewhere in the line but where could it be. As we talked for a few minutes trying tp figure something out. I immediately asked God to give the person who was working on the sewer pipes wisdom and knowledge to where the problem was, then I thought go to the root of the problem.

Again I had asked God to download ideas in the persons head who was working on it, what to do and how to go about it so that it would not cost the people any more money than need be, I asked for it to be quick and easy. Just before we had hung up the phone, I had added that I would continue to pray on this matter. I was in a quiet spot in my bedroom so I could pray to the Lord uninterrupted as I again spoke out wisdom and knowledge over the person doing the work, I asked that God would show them right where the spot was where the problem was taking place. Then as I continued to pray, I asked God to go to the root of the problem and blast the plug right out of the way that was holding things up.

It didn't seem like not much time had passed when the same person had called me saying that it was all fixed, the problem was found and the sewer was in working order again. Well "Praise God" I said as the person on the line continued to tell me what happened. This summer they had their driveway leveled with some new gravel and to smooth it out it had been rolled to be pressed in tightly and from that it had caused the pipes under ground to be squashed a bit and instead of having a round pipe, from the packing of the gravel, it had made the pipe in an oval shape, so things were not able to flow through properly. I had told the person what I had prayed about the plug being blasted out of the way in order for things to flow, and that's what they said had happened, things blew everywhere but the pipes became unplugged in order for things to work again.

Apparently there was another young fellow there helping and he had made the comment to the guy that was doing the work, he said, "I've seen you do a lot of things before but i have never seen anything like that done before," apparently he was quite amazed.

It made me think of when Jesus was going from town to town healing people and doing many miracles, He didn't seem to do the same thing twice. In John 9:1-12 it tells how Jesus had spit on the ground and made a clay to put on the man's eyes and then told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam and the man was healed, he could see. Jesus spoke Psalm 107:20 over the Centurion for his servant, Jesus had said to the Centurion "Go home your servant is well," the Centurion had faith that if Jesus just spoke the word his servant would be healed. Lazarus was dead for four days and all Jesus had to to was call to Lazarus to come out of the grave and he did, to show the people of His healing power, and that even though a person was dead Jesus could bring them back to life

Not only can our eyes be blind from a sickness or by birth naturally but they also can be spiritually blind to the things of the world and this can be a dangerous place to be. Look at the world around us and what is going on, in the word God, He has spoken that in the last days many would be asleep, even Christians and that is exactly what is happening, a spiritual sleep, not seeing things for what it really is. We not only have to have eyes to see but we need to have our ears open to what the spirit of God may be saying to us. Matthew 13:16 says to us, "Blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears because they hear." God is on the move and He is doing a new thing in the earth, (Isaiah 43:19) so girlfriends it is very important that we have our eyes watching for what God is going to do next and we need to have our ears as sharp as a tack to His what His spirit may speak to each of us, we need to be on our toes and stay awake and pray in this dark hour. Let us continue to be God's little flashlights on this earth to shine the light of Jesus so that others will be able to see and know who Jesus really is, Amen.

Father God, I thank you that you opened my spiritual eyes to see on that day twenty-four years ago. Lord I thank you that as each and every one of us come to know you in a deeper way, we will begin to see you and hear you more clearly and profoundly. Lord I lift up those who may be praying for their loved ones to come to the place of repentance. Lord I speak over each loved ones ears to come open in the mighty name of Jesus, blow the plugs right out in Jesus name. Lord I command ever blinded eye to come open in the Mighty name of Jesus, Let the veils be torn from their eyes and let them see in Jesus name. Lord let each of their vision and hearing open and improve with each passing day, as they will see and hear you in a greater way then ever before and I thank you in advance in Jesus name, Amen.
