For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be His treasured possession. Deuteronomy 14:2 NIV
Good Morning Girlfriends:
There is so much excitement swirling around this house, as we celebrate one of my granddaughter's birthday as she turns five, and starting kindergarten in the fall is absolutely unthinkable. Remembering like it was yesterday, I stood by my daughters side as contractions were getting closer for this sweet little girl to be born and now she is five, how can that be.
Now this same daughter of mine, who is already a mama to two children, is soon to give birth to her third sweet little one. With so much excitement, I have a list all made of people to invite, with some fun and silly games to pull out, and of course don't forget all of the delicious food and treats that will line the cupboard and fill the table. Everything is all set for the decorations, everything will be done in pink of course and we will celebrate this new special life that is so close to arrive.
The excitement does not end there, as my youngest daughter who just celebrated her baby's first birthday a few weeks ago, we will be celebrating with her again with another baby shower in November with another sweet beautiful little life that will enter this world, with a loving family all around to welcome another new life, with warm kisses and snuggles.
Girlfriends, how can one not think that life is not a precious gift, when every good and perfect gift comes from our heavenly Father, (James 1:17) and isn't that what we usually say when a baby is born, they are perfect. Each little one is completely perfect with their ten little fingers and their ten little toes, and even when a little one is born with complications, they are still a precious gift, they are a precious life, they are a wonderful gift, we can't forget that.
As we celebrate each life when one is born, we celebrate that life each year as they grow older with each birthday that rolls around. We celebrate the life of the person who has passed away, and all the wonderful things that are remember throughout their life as they have passed on to their new life in heaven. We also celebrate that new life, when one gives their heart to the Lord, (2 Cor. 5:17) and as it says in scripture, all of heaven rejoices (Luke 15:7), so that shows that there is a lot of excitement going on when a life dedicates their very own life back to the Lord, the one who gave them life in the first place, Amen?
Life is precious because it is a beautiful gift from God, each and every day that we have on this earth is precious and when you take your life seriously, you truly understand that each day is a gift. (Romans 6:23) Not everyone gets to live a long life, some are shortened by sickness, an accident, and some do not even get to see the world because they were taken through abortion, which I would like to add is forgiven when we repent and ask for forgiveness.
Life truly is precious, it was given to us as a free gift, and each and every one of us has a purpose, so let's take each day with a purpose in mind by helping other's who are in need. Let's celebrate each day by being kind to people, let's take the time to share our Jesus with other's who don't even know Him yet. Let's each and every one of us make the most of each precious day that we have, because we do not know when it could be our last, when we will take our last breath, Amen? Life truly is precious!
Let's Pray,
Father God, I thank You and I praise You for the life that You have given me and for the lives of my very own family, I am so very blessed. Lord, I thank You for every life that is represented here today and for who they are, they are truly special and precious souls to You. Lord, today we honor and celebrate Your precious people and we celebrate You, the one who gave up His very own life for us, so that we could be born again and be able to have an everlasting life that is with You in heaven. Lord, that is something to celebrate and to be thankful for, in which we owe You our lives. So Lord, I pray that each one of us will make the most of each day and bring glory to You, our loving Father in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Be blessed, and pass the blessings on. Thank you in advance for passing this message on.
