Quick Changes

Good Morning Girlfriends:

What beautiful days we have been having, with beautiful sunshine, high temperatures, as though we were back in the summer months again. People wearing shorts, motor bikes still fill the roads, back yard campfires are still happening, views of the sunsets from the front porch are being enjoyed as here we are in the month of November.

As I continue to do my fall cleaning, rearranging and digging out to throw away things that are not needed, my clothes line being filled with laundry with not a breeze in the air but beautiful warm temperatures filled the air. In a flash, as I stepped outside to run to the car, so not to be late picking up my granddaughters from school, the weather had changed within minutes from hanging the clothes on the line. The wind had come up out of no where with such a strong force, the car was being pulled from the high winds.

After picking the girls up from school, we stopped at a friends house for a little visit, and a jump on the trampoline for the girls, within a short time the temperature dropped immensely as the wind continued to blow, what a quick change in the weather just within a few minutes, it felt like winter was coming. Gathering things up quickly, before the wind got the best of us, we retreated inside the house, said our good byes and drove home so the girls could work on their homework.

We have become accustomed to the beautiful summer temperatures all over again, that it was a shock to the system when the harsh cold temperatures blew in with the wind. Just as the weather has changed so quickly, I believe that the Lord is changing some things around in some people's lives just as quick as well. It will be like when a bunch of dominoes are all lined up and the first one is knocked over, things in peoples lives are going to change just as fast, you may not think that you will be able to keep up with it all.

Girlfriends, I believe that we are in a season that God is doing a new thing and a quick thing, or as some would call it "a suddenly." God is on the move and He wants us to get ready to move when He leads us to move, when He opens the door for the move or change to be made, we have to be ready to go. Isaiah 43:19 says, "For I'm going to do a brand new thing. see, I have already begun! Don't you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!"

I think of the little chipmunks and how quickly they move to get their food supply stored up in their little burrows for the winter, and we as people get the heads up that a major storm is coming, we too move quickly to prepare for the worst that could happen, for all the "what if's." We are in a season where there are many relationships that not going any where, and they are ending, homes that are not accommodating any more, bigger and better ones are being opened up, new job opportunities are opening up, and for some people they will be experiencing a new relationship that God Himself is opening up. there are many changes, moves that are taking place, and as quick as the weather is changing again, we must be prepared and ready for all of the new changes that are coming our way in the days to come.

There may even be many people who are tired of how their lives have been going and they are ready for a change, as they realize that they need Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There may be many prodigals coming down the road, so we need to be watching for them as they come back home. (Luke 15:11-32)

All I keep hearing the Lord say is, "Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready, It's Your Turn."

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for this new day, I thank you for the changes that you have made within me, and continue to do, from the first day that I surrendered my life to you. Lord, I pray for that dear soul that is ready for that same change to take place in their life as they say yes to you, as they they ask you into their heart to take over and embrace the new person that they will become. Lord, I declare that every relationship that needs to end will be ended now in Jesus name, in order for the right one to be able to come to that person. Lord, I declare to the one who needs a bigger home, your door is opening for a much roomier space in Jesus name, provision is being made. To the dear soul who is waiting for their prodigal, don't turn your head, for in the flash of an eye, they will be home in Jesus Mighty name. Lord, I declare these things for your glory, and your glory alone, Amen.
