Smoothing It Out

But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. Isaiah 26:7 New Living Translation

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Playing Barbies was an event that went on in our house almost on a daily basis, with four girls in the family it was quite inevitable. My two younger daughters were upstairs in their room that they shared, getting everything set up to play, as I had peeked in the Barbie houses were all set up, the Barbies were being dressed in their fancy dresses as were Barbies friends who would be involved in the event.

Stepping away from the door, I went downstairs to prepare something for supper before my older children made it home from school. It wasn't long before I could hear arguing coming from upstairs, then a thump here and there rang through the house, as I was on the run to see what was going on. One was crying by the time I had reached their room and one was looking a little sheepish. I could tell somewhat, what had happened because of the object that was in the hands of one of my daughters, she had hit her sister which left her in tears and the Barbies were all over the place.

Listening to the story unfold as to what had happened, this Mama had to step in between in order to solve the problem, you know, smooth things over between the two girls.

There has been many things that has happened in my life when God has had to smooth some things out. Some of you may know what it's like to have a garment that is so wrinkly that you have to iron it so it will look presentable, that can be some things in our own personal lives as well that may need to have ironed out. I have gone through divorces that have needed a little ironing out, that is what a lawyer is used for to get things situated and on track. After my family experienced a house fire, there were some legal things that had to be ironed out with the bank.

Girlfriends, you may be in a situation right now that you need god to do a little ironing. Maybe you have had a falling out with a friend and neither one of you wants to make the first move to make amends. God tells us in Isaiah 45:2 that He will go before us and make the crooked places straight, He will smooth everything out. Look at Joseph when he was accused by Potiphar's wife of assaulting her, Joseph was thrown into prison, and many years later, God had turned things all around and Joseph was freed and became in high ranking to rule over regions in his time.

God smoothed things out a few years ago for me, when my husband had passed away and I had to file for bankruptcy because of a trucking business that my husband had set up. I didn't know how to run this business and to no fault of mine, I had to file and God brought me through it quite easily I must say. What ever you may be facing today, God can smooth things out for you as well as He did for me and as He did for many back in the Bible days as well. God wants us to seek Him, and the more we seek Him the more we will find Him, and God will make a way where there seems to be no way, His word says so in Isaiah 43:19, Zephaniah 1:18, Nahum 1:8, Nahum 1:9, and Micah 7:9.

God will smooth your situation our right before your eyes, because He has already went ahead to prepare the way for you, you just have to walk in it, Amen?

Let's Pray,

Father God, I lift up your holy name, for You are holy. Lord I lift up each one to You today who is facing a situation who needs You to make a way for them. Lord You are the way for them, and I declare over them that You are making every crooked path straight, You are ironing out all the small details that they cannot see. I thank You Lord in advance for the smoothing of each situation in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
