O LORD< I will praise you with all my heart, and tell everyone about the marvelous things you do. I will be glad, yes, filled with joy because of you. I will sing your praises, O Lord God above all gods. Psalms 9:1-3 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

What beauty there is all around arrayed with the many colors of red, orange, yellow and green. The sun glistens and sparkles on the leaves as the color comes alive in their brightness. God has truly painted the world in beautiful splendor.

Three days it took me to prepare and get ready for our "Thanksgiving Dinner," from the chopping and peeling, to the baking and decorating, but let me share with you where the food had come from to make it all happen.

A lady up the road from me had gleaned some farm fresh potatoes right from the field that she wanted to give away. My sister had been given a huge bag of fresh carrots that she shared with her dear sister. My sister and her husband were blessed by a niece, who had married into a family that grew an abundant crop of corn, so much that they were giving away what ever amount we wanted to take. The squash came from the same family, that had a beautiful vegetable stand with many home made goodies. One of my daughter's had bought the turkey, and this "Mama" had homemade pickles and fiddleheads that she had made up herself and that is how our wonderful meal came together.

Three of my children with their little families were able to join, while two of my other children who lives far away had to do their own celebration, friends joined around our table, with stories and laughs and pictures taken for memories to be remembered for years to come.

Girlfriends, we truly do have so much to be thankful for, even though there may be things happening in ones life, we can still come together as a family, to share, laugh and love. It is a time of coming together, catching up, letting down and just enjoying one another's company no matter of the struggles that one is dealing with. The hurts and disappointments that one is still dealing with, the surgery that one may be facing, tough decisions that are in the making, sicknesses and colds one may be dealing with, addictions one may be fighting, whatever the case may be there is still family, but most important of all, there is God.

It was God who connected all the dots with each person, so that I was blessed with potatoes, corn, squash, carrots, and turkey to put on the table, as well as all my wonderful family and friends to enjoy such a delicious meal with. As Psalms 9:1-2 says, "I will praise you with all my heart and tell everyone about the marvelous things you do. I will be glad, yes, filled with joy because of you. I will sing your praises, O Lord God above all gods." I give all praise and glory to my God, He is the one who connected me with all the right people in order to have all the wonderful food, so I will share with others how wonderful my God truly is.

"The LORD is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him." Psalms 28:7 Whenever I have been in need of something, I go to the Lord first and I trust in Him that He will answer, so therefore we are to praise our God and give Him thanks. Do we not thank that person who has given us a gift, or thank a friend who has just taken us out for a meal or bought us a coffee, yes we do. Then how much more should we give God the praise for putting these special people in our lives, He deserves the praise and the glory.

Girlfriends, let's give God praise and thank Him for all the things He has done for us. Let me leave you with a few more scriptures about being blessed. Psalm 13:5, "But I have trusted you in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation." 1 Chronicles 16:35 says, Say also, "Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise." I love this one, Psalms 95:2 how it says, "Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!" Let's not forget Psalms 92:1-2, "It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night."

Praise Him, Give Him thanks, for His is worthy!

Let's Pray,

Father God, I come into your courts with thanksgiving in my heart. Lord, I praise you and honor you for who you are, you are a good good Father. Lord, you have blessed me with a wonderful family, you have blessed me with a home and good food to eat. Lord, I speak blessings over each one here today, and that they too would see the wonders of who you are. I pray that each one would taste and see how Good you truly are. Lord, I'm asking that you would bless them up and above more than they could ever think or imagine in the Mighty name of Jesus, and that they will testify of your goodness in Jesus name, Amen.

Be blessed sweet girlfriends, and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on to others..
