Take Your Position, Stand Firm

After consultation with the leaders of the people, he determined that there should be a choir leading the march, clothed in sanctified garments and singing the song, "His Lovingkindness is Forever" as they walked along praising and thanking the Lord! 2 Chronicles 20:21 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

There are battles going on all over the world still today. The battle between Russia and Ukraine, the battle do we wear the mask or not to wear the mask, battle in people's health, the battle against abortion, the battle of whether to take the shot or not to, these are all battles that are going on in our world today. There are always going to be battles that will take place because of the world in which we live, now let's take a look at one that happened back in 2 Chronicles 20, to see how this army made it out safe and unharmed.

King Jehoshaphat had learned that there were armies that were coming against him in war, so he went to the Lord to ask for help. He had asked the people of Judah to fast, and the people came together from every town in Judah to pray. Standing in front of the people, Jehoshaphat declared God's word about who God was and is, how powerful He and strong He is, Jehoshaphat reminded God that it was He who had gave them the land in which they lived and it was for their family blood line. He declared that whether plague or hunger came to them, they would serve the Lord, he also declared that as they cry out to Him, He would hear them and He would save them.

Jehoshaphat reminded God that there were armies that were coming to drive them out of the land, he acknowledged that they didn't have the power to face this huge army, and that they were looking to God who could. There was a prophet who was amongst them, and as the spirit of the Lord came upon him he told the people not to be afraid, not to lose hope against the huge army, the battle wasn't their but God's. The prophet continued to tell the people where to find the army and to go to that place and that they would not have to fight, for they were to take position and stand firm, and they would see how God would save them, for God was with them.

Girlfriends, whatever you are facing today, God is saying the very same words to you, do not fear, do not lose hope, remind God of who He is, take your position, stand firm and watch how God works it all out. We must surrender our whole lives to God in every way, we must believe in who He says He is, we must remember the battles He has brought us through before, He will do it again. We must become unmovable, unshakeable that nothing, absolutely nothing, absolutely nothing can shake us from knowing who God is and what He will do for us in any battle.

It continues to say in verse 18, that King Jehoshaphat and all the people of Judah bowed down and worshipped the LORD, then they praised God with very loud voices. Early the next morning the people left to take their position in the place in which they were told, the praises were sent out ahead of the army and they sang of the goodness of God, giving the Lord thanks, for His faithful loves continues forever. When they arrived all they had found was dead bodies, the armies had fought against themselves and all were killed. God came through for King Jehoshaphat's men, and not only that, God blessed them up and above, they went down to the armies that laid there and were able to carry away items that were of value to them, such as clothes, supplies etc.

God is an awesome God, and He alone is worthy to be praised, so lift up your voices and sing loudly to the Lord and praise Him!

Father God, I praise You Lord, I love and adore You for You alone are worthy of my praise. Lord, i lift up that dear soul who has battling cancer, in the mighty name of Jesus I curse that foul spirit at the roots. I speak death over the roots and I command it to wither up and die in Jesus name. I speak the healing power from the Lord God on high would course through that body and completely heal every part in Jesus name. To the dear soul who is facing problems in your relationship, I say the devil is a liar and in the name of Jesus, your situation is being turned around today for the glory of my God. There are others out there that have been crying out, when you surrender your whole life to the Lord, you will see the glory of the Lord come down in your situation, you will see the glory of the Lord. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. I thank You mighty God for what You are doing in this season, All praise, All praise goes to You in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
