Tell Them I Love Them

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Moving away was a hard thing to do, leaving behind everything I ever knew, all the people who had been around me for many years, my neighbors and especially my family they would not be coming, just my youngest daughter and I would be making the trip ourselves. Many mixed emotions were involved, but knowing that God was in it made it more exciting, knowing I was going into a new chapter of my life.

Packing my van from floor to ceiling, not an empty spot was to be found except the two front seats, it wasn't long before we were on our way across country. Driving two and a half hours to get to the first point, there were many long lines of vehicles waiting to be ushered onto the fairy to be taken across the ocean to the other side where our destination was. This was a beautiful hot sunny day with soft waves flowing in the water, which made it for a fairly smooth ride so we could walk around the ships deck to enjoy the view as we traveled across the ocean. After the three hour boat ride, it would be only another half hour to get to where the final stop would be.

After being settled in for a while, phone calls were made back home to my family to keep the phone lines hot, we would talk for hours as we would get caught up on all the new things that had been going on. Before the final good bye as we were getting ready to hang up, I would always go down through the list of family, children, grandchildren, my mother, depended on who I was talking and I would ask that person to tell the others that I loved them and missed them.

As I woke up this morning, I heard those very same words, "Tell them I love them." God wants me to tell you that He loves you, each and every one, He loves you. Maybe for some, you have been going through a difficult time and you have not been feeling loved, God wants you to know that He does, He always has and He always will. Maybe you are thinking how could He because of the dark place that you are in right now, sweetheart He wants you to know there are no strings attached to His love, He loves you when you are on top of the world making great choices in life, and He also loves you even if you haven't been doing the right thing, when you aren't making good choices, when you are doing things that you shouldn't be, He still loves you. He loves you when you are hurting, He loves you when you feel low and depressed, He loves you when you are bitter and angry, it doesn't matter who we are or what we have done in life He still loves us.

God would like for you to know that if you need a lap to sit on, He is here for you, if you need arms to hold you, He is here for you to love on you. He wants you to know that there have been many other people who have been in a lot messier places than you and He loves them too. If you feel that God is speaking to you and you would like to feel the love He is right here ready to wrap His loving arms around you, won't you step in. Let Him meet you right where you are at, it doesn't matter what you think that you look like, God says you are just right for some love.

Father God, I thank you for your never ending love that surpasses all other love that we could ever experience. Lord I thank you that your love is unconditional with no strings attached and that it doesn't matter who we are or what we have done, You love us any way, where else would we find a love like that. Father God, I lift up that dear one to you right now who has been feeling unloved, Lord I am believing that You are reaching them right now, right where they are at and wrapping your loving arms around them as You pull them in close to feel the warmth of Your arms. Father God I am believing from this day on, they will never be the same after feeling the sweet tender touch from Your loving arms in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
