Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32 KJV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

A little over three months ago, the rush was on to get my spare room cleaned out my to make room for a little family to stay with me. My youngest daughter had her first baby, and we decided that it would be a good idea to have her stay with me, just to get her used to motherhood and I would be right there to help her.

You could not even imagine what my spare looked like at that time, it was packed full of bins , boxes, bags of everything imaginable from floor to ceiling, it was my storage/office room. Little by little I puttered to get things moved around, mostly bins were moved out to my shed, at this time I was dealing with what the Doctor said was "tennis elbow" in both arms, so I found it hard to lift and move things on my own. As I continued on I was trying to go through things to get rid of things I didn't need, and as you know that is time consuming, and the push was on to get this room cleaned out and ready for the new family to come. I consider myself very blessed to have had so many friends come to my rescue to help with lifting and moving, the only thing about all the help is, sometimes things get wadded in places and get mixed up or misplaced and put into boxes and you don't know what's what, if you don't do it yourself.

Now as, a little over three months has gone by, little by little, I am going through things and sorting through clothes, papers, books, odds and ends and getting rid of things that I really don't need. It sure can be overwhelming when there is so much "stuff" to go through.

Girlfriends, isn't that just like our lives though, we have so much stuff that we hang onto over the years from holding a grudge against someone that said somethings years ago, to backbiting about that person because we really don't want to let it go. In our key verse God tells us to let all of those things go such as anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, malice, slander, this is a spiritual de-cluttering, so to say, that will harm us in our spirit and our bodies if we don't let it go. Sometimes, just like going through stacks of papers, it can take some time, it's the same way with de-cluttering our minds, it's a step by step process. As God tells us in the next part of the verse, He wants us to be kind to one another, tender hearted towards one another and He wants us to forgive one another, as He has forgiven us.

I'm sure we all know just how good it feels to go through a room that you are cleaning and throwing things out that we don't need, as we look around the room looks fresher, cleaner more organized, that is the exact same way our spirits feel as we let all bitterness go, all our anger go, all malice and backbiting go, whatever it is that needs to, let's kick it to the curb, just as we throw out our natural garbage, let's throw out all the spiritual garbage as well, you won't believe how good you will feel when you are done.

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you Lord that we have a gracious Father to come to with all of life's problems. Lord I lift up each person today that is doing some de-cluttering of their minds, bodies and souls. Lord I pray that they would feel your mighty presence in the room with them as they release all bitterness, all anger, all unforgiveness, grudges over to you, as it means they are spiritually kicking these things to the curb. Lord I ask that you would fill them to over flowing with love and joy unspeakable that they are not able to contain what just took place as they share with others of your mighty power, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Be blessed sweet ladies and pass the blessings on because you are blessed.
