In my distress I called upon the Lord, to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears. Psalm 18:6 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

A far off I can hear sirens blaring, where are they going? Closer and closer they come louder and louder, I wait, I know they are coming. Siren stop, car doors slam, many voice are talking. One loud voice yells, "This is the police, put your hands up, we're coming in!" A loud crash as the front door is kicked in. They will find me as I sit here and wait. They are coming, Voices are mumbling, they are getting closer. A flashlight shines in the room, they have found me. I sit and wait for it all to happen. Rolled to the ground, as handcuffs are snapped on, last rights are being read.

Hands are leading me to the outside, car lights are flashing, police dispatching out, "We've got the suspect." Bending down sitting alone in the back seat. Thoughts running wild, voices speaking, "there's no hope," what am I going to do, who do I call. These words come flooding through my mind, where have I heard them, I know these words, they won't leave my mind. "Jesus on the main line, tell Him what you want, Jesus on the mainline, tell Him what you want." I know, I know, it was church, that's where I heard these words. "Jesus on the main line, tell Him what you want."

This has never happened to me, but as I awoke this morning, this is what played out in my mind. You can just picture it all playing out as I'm sure this has been an experience for many dear souls, their last cry for help. Girlfriends, I wonder how many out there are crying out for help right now? How many are wandering around lost, lonely, scared, wondering what to do, where can they go, who can they call?

I remember when that was me, going through another hard time in my third marriage, things were not looking so good, a baby on the way, and I was tired of the same cycle happening over and over. It was at that time in my life, I was in my early thirties when I called out to God. I had made it very clear that I was tired of living my life the way I was, arguing and disagreements going on and crying all the time , was not good for the baby that I carried. I called out to God and told Him, that when the baby was born, and if she was born healthy, especially from all of the trauma going on, I would serve Him and I would never turn back. After I had said those words to God, He gave me a dream of what this little girl looked like, I saw her sweet little face. When I gave birth to this baby girl, the first look at her I had said that was the face I saw in my dream. From that moment on I turned my life over to God and I have never looked back, my life was turned right around and there has never been one regret what's so ever.

Girlfriends, there may be some of you out there today that may feel lost, and you are in need of someone to talk to. You may be thinking there is no hope, or no way out for you. You may have made some wrong choices in your life and you may think this is the end, what else can you do. I know that someone whose phone line is open at all times, all hours of the day and night. Let me give you the number, it's 1-800-JESUS, open to talk 24 hours a day, never busy, you never have to be put on hold, it's His direct line.

What ever you may be facing today, Jesus has the answer, He is the answer, He already knows your situation and He's been waiting for your call. Here are a few verses to read that will tell you God hears you when you call out to Him. Psalm 18:6, Psalm 10:7, Jeremiah 29:13, Romans 10:13, Psalm 91:5, and this verse in Isaiah 65:24 says it like this, "Before they call I will answer, while they are yet speaking I will hear." Instead of Jesus being our last call, we should make Him our first call. So why wait any longer, make that call, He's been waiting to hear from you, He loves you and His ear is listening, make that call.

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank You Lord for who You are to me. Lord, I'm so thankful that Your phone line is never busy, Your direct line is open at all times. Lord, I lift up these dear ones to You today that need someone to talk to. Lord I pray for a boldness to come upon them right now in the mighty name of Jesus, that they would call out to You. Lord, I know that Your ear is listening at all times, so I pray that they will feel your mighty presence in their room where they are at, and that they will give whatever it is to You. Lord, You hold all the answers for all our problems, so I am expecting answers to be met, for each dear souls request to You today, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on to those you meet.
