Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 The Living Bible

Good Morning Girlfriends:

The last couple of days have felt a little different, if I can say it that way. Where I live, I can see just little hints of the leaves turning on a few of the trees as the season is changing with the cold air settling in on us. My sixteen year old cat Oliver, is slowing down in his demeanor, his appetite is smaller, weight is dropping and even his fur is changing color, today I know something is taking place, if you know what I mean.

The weather has dropped from being extremely hot and sunny days, to cold cold temperatures with no gradual warnings. Heaters and furnaces are being turned on to take the chill out of the air.

Our looks are changing with each passing year, or maybe for some, isn't that one of the reasons why people go to their school reunions just to see how people have changed over each decade. Some people have grey hair whether at a young age or when they are older, some people look a little heavier and stockier, as some tend to age gracefully. Our bodies change after giving birth, in shape and weight, the shift begins. Reaching the wonderful menopausal stage in life, as estrogen is lost, strength in their hands, arms and body is definitely noticeable. The older a person is in age, their skin tends to thin out and their body can't take the cold like it once did when they were younger.

Relationships all around us seem to be changing, new ones are evolving and old ones are separating. New life is all around, with new babies coming into the family, as well as hearing that many people are passing right here in my own community, there are certainly many changes taking place.

Girlfriends, it is so good to know that there is one thing or one person that will never change, and that is the Lord God Almighty, He never changes. Our key verse says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus' disciples did not realize what a change was going to take place that night that they sat eating with Jesus, they didn't know it would be their "last supper" together before He was crucified. As I sit hear and type this message, I didn't know it may be my cat, Oliver's last supper that I fed him before I went to bed last night.

As I was typing along I had hit the wrong button, I clicked the publish button, but I wasn't finished I was just beginning, so I had to hit the edit button to be able to continue on. A message at the top of the page came up saying, "unpublished changes." Isn't that sometimes like our lives girlfriends, when we think that we are at the end of something in our life, but God may be saying there are "unpublished changes" to take place. What do I mean by that, there are changes taking place for a reason, God is not done writing our story.

There are changes taking place, because there is a new chapter to take place. Girlfriends, I believe that this chapter that He is writing is going to be the biggest, best and most amazing and capturing chapter in our lives. There are going to be wonderful things that are going to happen out of every hurt, dark, and broken place, God is changing and turning things around for our good. Isn't that what Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into His plans."

Sometimes we go through many changes, many different seasons in our lives, but there is one thing for sure that God is God and He never changes, He is a good God, who has our best interests at heart. God has good things in store for each and every one of us, so let's turn the page with Him, as He continues to write the best chapter in our story, Amen.

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for this day, I will praise you in the cold, in the rain, in the sun the heat, in life and through death. Lord, you are worthy of our praise, no matter what we are facing, you are still worthy, you never change. There may be things all around us that is changing, falling apart, we may have our ups and downs but you are still a good good father. Lord, I lift up each person to you today who is facing many great changes in their life. Lord, I pray that as they draw closer to you, they will understand that you are with them, walking them through each and every change, and that you are writing the rest of their story as they walk through to the other side of it. Lord, I speak the strength of God to be with them and all around them as they walk into the next chapter of their life, in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Be blessed sweet girlfriends, and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on in hopes that it would encourage and be a blessing for someone.
