The Unexpected Things

Good Morning Girlfriends:

My son and a couple of his friends have been planning and preparing for this past weekend to go goose hunting. For weeks he has scouted all the fields that the farmers have not cut yet, because that is where the geese will land and feed off the grain before they get ready to make their long journey south. Finding several uncut fields that looked to be a good place to set up all of their tents, the decoys that they use to lure the geese in with, was not looking so good at this time, as he drove by several fields that the farmers had already cut the grain, that is where all the geese were laying. My son and another friend had shared with me that this an unusual sight, because the ground is too hard and lumpy for them to lay as well as the grain already being cut, the food would would not be there for them.

Another friend of his had exclaimed that he had seen a bull moose standing near a female moose and her calf, and as soon as he drove up close to the moose, before he knew it the bull moose turned so quick he could just see the back of his rack as he was gone into the woods. Leaving the female with her baby was not a "normal act" from the moose to take off the it did, they usually would stand there for a bit before moving on. Now I am in no way a hunter, so these are all things that I would know nothing about, but as these men have been hunting for years, they had shared that strange things have been happening, not the usual expected scenarios I'll say.

Girlfriends, I don't know about you, but I know my cat has been acting very strange, or different lately, and it makes me think that something is up. It's like there is a change going on in the atmosphere, there is a shift so to say, as different things seem to be happening that are not of "the normal" or usual happenings. I had made the comment about the geese laying in the cut field, that maybe they were trying to throw the hunters off track, trick them, because they would not be expected to be seen in this kind of field. We who are not hunters, would not know the difference if we were to see them in an already cut field, even though we may have driven by and saw them there.

God tells us in His word, in Isaiah 43:19, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" Girlfriends, we have been praying for many years for unsaved loved ones in our families to be saved, we have been praying for that right relationship to spring forth, We have been praying for that prayer partner to come along side of us, we have been praying for that special person to let go of the different types of addiction, whether it's drugs, alcohol, sexual, gambling, food, shopping, we have been praying for the right job to open up to create a better income. God continues to say in the second part of Isaiah 43:19, "I am making a way in the wilderness and stream in the wasteland." God's word is true, and we have to believe it, and stand on it, there is always hope.

Our key verse in Ephes. 3:20 says to expect the unexpected that God can do anything we could ever think or imagine. When we pray, do we believe that it will come to pass, do we believe that it will really happen. I believe that we are in a time that we need to truly need to take ahold of God's word for the truth in which it is speaking. God is trying to get our attention that He is doing a new thing, and I believe it is a big thing that is going to take place in each of our lives, and we need to get ready to receive it. God is a big Go and He does big things, or why would He say far more than we could ever imagine.

Not only for the physical prayers that we have been praying for, but also for the spiritual prayers that we have asked for, a work to take place within us as well. I believe God has been stretching us further than we realize, I believe that there has been a great shift that is taking place within us and others that we are about see. He has been stretching our thinking, our ways of seeing and doing things in a new way. We need only to trust in God that whatever He is doing it will be so good, Amen, Amen.

Father God, I thank you for this wonderful day, Lord I rejoice that I am alive to see another day. Lord, I declare that we are a blessed people, and our families are blessed. Lord, I thank you for the changes that are taking place right now, inside of us and all around us. You are a good good Father and what you have in store for us can only be good. Lord, help us to always look to you for our every need, Lord, help us to keep our focus on you and what you are doing in this season. Help us to to keep our eyes and our ears open to your voice, so that we hear you when you speak and know when we are to move when you say to move. Lord, help us to stay totally connected to you, so that we do not miss a thing in what you are doing in us and for us, and where you are leading us in the Mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
