The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the captives. Isaiah 61:1 NIV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

As I sit here pondering the words that I know the Lord has downloaded for me to talk about, I can think back about my own life and how the Lord has brought me out of what I had been imprisoned to, but "Praise the Lord" I am free of all of those things.

Looking back to the accounts that was written in the Bible in the book of Exodus, we are told of the Isrealites became enslaved to the Egyptians because they were multiplying at a high rate and they were becoming a large number, so the Egyptian King to the throne had come up with a plan to enslave them to keep them in slavery in order to get work done to build their city, for he feared that with their great number they may take over.

The Hebrews had been imprisoned, enslaved, in bondage to the Egyptians for many many years. They were laden with heavy work loads and when they didn't think they could take anymore, the king had ordered heavier work upon them to weaken them so that they would not be able to get away.

Several years later the king of Egypt died. The Israelies were groaning beneath their burdens, in deep trouble because of their slavery, and weeping bitterly before the Lord. He heard their cries from heaven, and remembered his promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (to bring their descendants back into the land of Canaan). Looking down on them, he knew that the time had come for their rescue.

Girlfriends, when I think back to Paul and Silas, they had been physically been put in prison for preaching the gospel, but maybe there are some here today that are mentally imprisoned. You have been believing the lies of the enemy that you are not good enough, no one will ever want you, not a good man anyway. Maybe you have been imprisoned in the thought that you will not be able to provide for your family in a good enough way. Have you been believing the lie, that this is all there is for me and that's just the way it is...LIES, LIES, LIES.

Have you been imprisoned to an addiction of some kind, such as drugs, alcohol, sexual promiscuity, food addiction, gambling your money away. Maybe you are all about you and because you are hurting inside because of your past traumas, you don't even realize that you are hurting other people who are connected to you. Stop and think about something, the Isrealites were in captivity to Pharaoh for seventy years, that was seventy years too long. When the Isrealites wandered through the desert to get to their promise land it took them forty years to make what could have been and eleven day journey.

Have you ever thought about this one, sometimes God will put a deliver right in your path or one that can lead you to the deliver and you don't even see it. The question is sweet girlfriend...how long to you want to keep wandering in the wilderness, how long to do want to stay lost, dazed and confused, how long do you want to stay in darkness. Today is the day, that I have come to bring you good news. Whatever it is that you are imprisoned to, God will deliver you from it. God wants you to know girlfriend, that your promise land is "Freedom," and today can be you very day, will you take it?

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for this glorious day in which I can praise and worship my God, my creator who breathed His very breath upon me. I lift up every dear, sweet soul to you that is imprisoned to the lies off not being good enough, I will never be enough, I will never measure up, I take authority over those lies and break them of of this sweet soul now in Jesus name. Your word says that they are enough, they are loved and they are precious in your sight. I lift up to you Lord, the dear soul that has been imprisoned to the addiction of drugs, alcohol and sexual sin. I take authority over it in Jesus Mighty, Mighty name and I command that it come out of them in Jesus Mighty name. Let them feel the freedom of being set free of these things in Jesus name. Lord let them feel the love of Jesus wash over them from the top of their heads to the soul of their feet in Jesus name. I take authority over the every insecurity in the mighty name of Jesus and I break it off now in Jesus name. Lord fill them with such a sweet peace of your love and let the joy of the Lord come upon them in the mighty name of Jesus like never before. Lord, let each life be transformed because of the cross and because of your precious blood that was shed for them at Calvary in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Be blessed sweet girlfriends, and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on to others that may be encouraged from it. Blessings.
