For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Over the past few years I have become more of a people watcher, so to say, as I may be sitting in my vehicle waiting for my daughter to come out of the store, I have noticed so many people do not have smiles on their faces. I know that the past two years have been full of crazy changes, the world seems to have gone up side down in the way things are being done. Many people have experienced many severe changes and losses in their life. Rules, regulations, control has dragged many down, in which they are not sure which way to turn.

No matter what is going on in our world, I still believe there is still a reason for us to be excited, especially when we know who we are in Christ and what He has done for us, we do not have to go around with forlorn looking faces, because we have the truth of what is really going on.

We are loved, not only does it tell us in our key verse, John 3:16, but it also says in Jer. 31:3 that God has loved us with an everlasting love; He has drawn us with unfailing kindness, it is because of Him. Look at 1 John 3:1 where it tells us, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us , that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him." I love how it tells us in Romans 5:8, that while we were still sinners, God demonstrated His love, that He sent Christ to die for us.

Why wouldn't God love us, He created us, Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. We were created unique, one of a kind and we are told this in Psalm 139:13-16 where it says, "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." It truly is exciting to know that we are God's masterpiece and that He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago, this scripture is found in Ephesians 2:10.

Did you know that we are the "Apple of God's Eye," He tells us so in Psalm 17:8, and not only that, we are precious to God just like we would be to our own parents, He tells us in His word, Deut. 14:2, we are His treasures. That makes one feel very special, knowing that we are looked at as little treasures, we are precious to Him.

We truly are a blessed people when we know who we are in Christ and know His word, Phil. 4:19 tells us that God will meet all of our needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. Did you know that every good and perfect gift comes from above, it tells us this in James 1:17, even though we may not think of a trial being a gift but there are lessons that we can learn out of every trial that we go through. John 1:16 reminds us that from the fullness of God's grace to us, we have all received blessing after blessings. Ephesians 1:3 reminds us as well that we are blessed, but think of it we are not only blessed physically by God's provision for us such as food, shelter and clothing, but we are also spiritually blessed as well in favor which is an extension of His grace that He extends to us.

Isn't it exciting to know that we are protected by God, Isaiah 41:10 tells us that we do not have to fear that God is with us, He is the one who will strengthen us, He helps us as well as uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness. 2 Timothy tells us that God will rescue us from every evil attack and will bring us safely to His heavenly Kingdom. We have a promise in Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, He is our protector, it doesn't get any better than that.

How exciting is it to know that we have our very own "Personal Guide" in life. Prov. 23:18 says, "there is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." The Lord promises us in Jer. 29:11 that He has plans for us, plans to prosper us, plans to give us hope and a future. God's word is a lamp for our feet, and a light on our path, Psalm 119:105. When we follow the word of God, He guides us, He gives us direction in any circumstance that we may face, He is our "go to." When we ask God to guide us in His truth and teach us, because He is God our Savior, and our hope is in Him all day long, He will, Psalm 25:5, but only if we seek Him will we find. (1 Chron. 28:9, 2 Chron 15:2)

There are many times our friends on this earth may let us down, but girlfriends we also have a friend in the Lord, He is our friend. Job knew all to well what that was like, as it is referred to us in this way in Job16:20-21,"My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; on behalf of a man he pleads with God as one pleads for a friend. Jesus is our intercessor to the one and only God. He hears us.

How wonderful it is to know that God is there when we need a doctor, when we are not well we have Him to go to. Matthew 9:12-13 reminds us of what Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: "I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." It is the people who do not know Jesus yet who may need healed not only physically but spiritually as well. They may need to be healed from all kinds of hurt issues, abandonment issues, addiction issues, God is the doctor. Matthew 8:17 tells us, This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, "He took our sickness and removed our diseases." 1 Peter confirms to us that, "He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed."

Girlfriends, isn't it so exciting to know that we have a Savior, and John 14:6 reminds us of this this way, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Our heavenly Father gave us Jesus Christ to be our leader and our Savior, and that is why He died on the cross for us because we needed saving from all of our wrong doings, all of our sinful ways, we truly needed a Savior. Let's not forget the scripture Psalm 24:8 which the Psalmist asks, "Who is this King of glory? and answers, "The Lord strong and mighty." This is who we are waiting for, to come back and take us home to be with Him, King Jesus. We can find this scripture in Hebrews 9:28 as it says, "So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him."

Girlfriends, I know I am eagerly waiting for the Lord's return, and I hope that you are as well. I am praying for those who have not surrendered to the Lord as of yet, that today will be your special day of surrender, now that is something to get excited about, Amen?

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for who you are and what you have done for us. You are the example I want to carry in my life so that others will see You high and lifted up. Lord, You are what makes life exciting, You give us strength to keep persevering. Lord, I lift up every precious soul to You today that has not given their life over to you. Lord I am asking and believing for You to encompass their atmosphere right now with Your Mighty presence, fill them with Your glory as they surrender and ask for forgiveness of their sins, and as they acknowledge You as Jesus who died on the cross for them that took away their sins. Lord I ask that You would cleanse them by your shed blood from the cross, and make them whole as they begin their new life as a new creation in You. Lord I speak blessings over them as they walk a new walk with You as their personal Lord and Saviour, in the Mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on to others. Thank you in advance for passing this message on to give others encouragement that there is something to get excited about.
