For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is the gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you as an example, so that you might follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:19-21 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Talking to a lady recently on the phone, she was sharing with me that she had taken a few days away to go and visit family, it was one of her daughter's birthday, so making the six hour drive she decided to take a few days to have some fun. After being there for a couple of days, she realized that where she was at in life and where her family was in life, was two totally different worlds so to say.

This one evening they were sitting around a campfire laughing, talking, playing music, singing along with the person who was playing guitar, having a good time, when she was thinking to herself that she didn't fit in. This was her family, her children and some of their friends, for a brief moment she thought, "What am I doing here, I don't fit in" but then she decided that since she was there visiting for a few days she might as well enjoy her time while she was able to.

Making plans with grandchildren, they went for adventures spending time on the beach, walking through sand that made "a kind of a sound" as they walked through it, they called it "the singing sand." Later that evening they decided to have a campfire right there on the beach and enjoy the beautiful breeze as they watched the waves billow on the ocean, she had shared they had a wonderful day at the beach.

Have you ever felt that way girlfriends, that you felt that you just didn't seem to fit in, in certain places or with certain people and as you wondered, where do I fit in? Think about Jesus when He walked this earth, some of the people hated Him, the Scribes and the Pharisees were always trying to trip Him up, so to say, because they totally did not understand His ways, who He was and what He was all about. Jesus did not fit into their religious rules and regulations, because He did not conform to the ways that they thought He should be.

John 15:19 tells us from the word of God, "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, therefore the world hates you." Haven't we all seen this a time or two, if we don't agree with the things that the world is doing, the agendas that they are pushing, the wicked ways they are trying to conform people to go or to be, then we who follow God's ways are looked down on for it. 2 Tim. 3:12 tells us "Indeed, all who desire to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. John 15:19 also tells us "If you were of the world, the world would love you as it's own, but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Jesus tells us in Romans 12:2 not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. This is not saying that we are better than the people of the world, it's just that we have received what the word of God tells us because we have given our lives over to Jesus and we are now living and following in the way that Jesus has taught us.

Each and every one of us, I'm sure, have unsaved loved ones, and it doesn't mean that we can't hang around them or other people that we know because they aren't living for the Lord, it just means that we are not following in the ways of the world any more, and we want for our loved ones what we have found in Christ Jesus. We want to know that one day we will see them in heaven as well as the other family members that has went on before us. We are on a mission to share the love and the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that our family, the people we know and even the people that we don't know, will know and experience the love of Jesus.

Even though we no longer fit in with the way that the world is going, because we are living for the Lord, He still reminds us in Galatians 6:9-10, "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Of course, we love our family, and we are commanded to love people as we would love ourselves, Matt. 22:29, we may not fit in with them, but we are to love them with the love of Jesus, and share Jesus' gospel message so that they to might be saved.

Love like Jesus loves, read the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, see the Love of Jesus in these pages of the Bible, and together let's become more and more like Him, so that we will fit in as we are made to be more and more like Him, of who He is. Oh to be like Jesus, Amen?

Let's Pray,

Father God, I lift up the name of Jesus, I praise the name of Jesus. Lord I thank you for another wonderful day to share your love to the lost, to the broken, to the ones who want to be more and more like you. I speak the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the love of Jesus over every soul who is reading this today. There is power in His name, there is power in His blood and there is power in the love of Jesus, Let it fall fresh on you today as you rejoice from the special touch that you have just receive from precious Jesus. There is no one like Jesus, there is no one greater, there is no one higher than Jesus. He is the only one we want to fit in with, then we know that we are going places in Him. I speak double blessings over each one today in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Be blessed, and pass the blessings on to others you meet. Thank you for passing this message on in hopes that it will be a blessing to others.
