But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace. 1 Corinthians 7:15 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

A friend of mine, a dear woman of God, made a post of what God had placed upon her heart as she wanted to share to whom it may concern. God very well may send you into someone's life to be a blessing and a strength to them, you carry what they need. Sometimes they may not recognize you as such, because of their own insecurities, or wounds, they may even be jealous of you. Love them, pray for them and serve them anyway. God will either heal their heart through you, or He will eventually close the door if they don't receive you. Trust God and faithfully serve "Him" even when it doesn't make sense.

This takes me back to a time in my life when I was getting ready to be married, expecting a baby in five months, not living for the Lord, but was willing to make this big step. It was my best friend who I had asked to be my maid of honor, we shared so much together, we had been there for each other in many situations, and it was the day of the wedding when we were standing at the top of the staircase ready to make our way down the stairs for the big moment when she stopped me. She had pulled me aside at that last final moment to say these words, "You know you don't have to go through with this." Taking a brief moment as I paused to look at her I said, "I know, but God will change him."

Girlfriends, I cannot tell you over the years how many times that those two statements has flashed back in my mind, the statement that my best friend made to me the day of the wedding and my response back to her. Now remember I wasn't serving the Lord at this time in my life, but I had been brought up in church as a young girl and was taught about God and I believed in Him, so I thought God would change this man that I was about to marry.

God was using my friend way back then, not to follow through with the marriage just because I was expecting a baby. You see, she knew exactly what our relationship was like, she knew what was going on behind closed doors, she knew the things that I stood for and he was everything the opposite. Why do we think that God is going to change everything and make everything all better. He can and He will if both people are willing to want that change in their life, but in many cases it's only a one sided relationship.

Not only in this relationship, marriage have I learned that God will allow things to go so long in even a friendship, but if there is not a change in the individual who is not going in the right direction, God will close the door, He will use people to say something that should be a sign for us to catch. It is us that holds on to this other person because we are hoping they will change, but as I have learned in many situations some just do not want to change and we must let them go, as hard as it is.

Girlfriends, I am stressing to you today, that if you are really wanting to live for the Lord, you know that God is the one who always takes care of you, He is the one who sends provision for you, (using people to help) He is the one who has greater for you and this means "Yes" even for a God given person to be in your life for a partner. When you are willing to let the one go who has not made an effort to make changes, it is then after some time of healing that suddenly the God ordained one will walk into your life out of nowhere and be the reason why none of your other relationships worked out.

The only reason I can say these things, is because I have been through it several times, not only in marriage but friendships as well, that's how I share this with you. Why do you think God will use other people to say things to you as a sign, because people who are on the outside of a situation looking in, can see what is going on easier than the person who is in it, because they are too close. God sees everything that is going on, He knows the beginning to the end, why not put your trust in Him and let Him bring the right person into your life, and believe me He will always have the right one. You may not think so, or see it at the time, but God has nothing but good for those who serve Him.

Try to remember this as well, don't stop loving and serving God just because someone who claimed to represent God, and misrepresented Him, people fail, but God does not Amen? (Joshua 21:45Philipp. 4:19, Hebrews 13:8)

Girlfriend, if you are in a friendship or a relationship, take a good hard look at your relationship and think about how long you have known this person, have they made any changes to make themselves better or change some things that are opposite of what you represent. If they have not, even though they are a nice person, God may be saying to you right now it's time to close that door. I remember writing something in my high school year book, "If you love something set it free, and if it comes back to you then it is yours, and if it doesn't, then it never was meant to be." God loves you and He always will, praise God that you are the one who is willing to make the changes in your life so that there will be a better change. Good things are coming to you, God has you surrounded with the right people who will be there all the way, God has good good things in store for you!

Let's Pray,

Father God, I thank you for this wonderful day. Lord, I thank you for the blessings that you have for each one who is represented here today. Lord, I lift up that sweet soul who has seen some things in their life that are not what they really want, they want to make a change, but are a little nervous. Lord, let them be reassured that You are the their guide, their keeper, their provider, their protector and that You are always walking by their side and that You will not allow any harm to come their way. Lord, if there is one here today that is ready for that new change, and is ready to move on through a new door, a new chapter in their life, let them have the strength to do so, knowing that they have made the right decision to follow you, and that You are leading them to greater blessing, greater miracles and a greater destiny for their life in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Be blessed sweet girlfriend, and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on to others, in hopes that it will bless them.
