Jesus Christ is (eternally changeless, always) the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 Amplified Version
Good Morning Girlfriends:
This verse is simple but it has a great impact that speaks right up front that you don't have to try to figure out what it's saying, I love this verse. As we watch all over the globe people are in one crisis after another, one disaster after another, talks of there being shortages of food, people going wild in the streets, places being vandalized, prodigals living wild and crazy lives, so many drugs are running rampant all over this earth that is taking many young lives, as well as cancer, sometimes it seems it will never end.
Many people are talking about their own personal situations and the way they talk, they speak out that there seems to be no hope. I know of couples that are facing and have been facing, very dark times, as they are hanging onto that last thread, trying not to let go. For us who are believers and follower of the Lord, we know that there is always hope, Jesus is that hope. The God of Jacob whose love has came down through the generations is the same God today. The God of Moses, the one who opened up the waters for the Isrealites to pass through is the the same God today. The God of Mary, whose favor rests upon the lowly, is the same God of impossibilities today.
The God of David that made a shepherd boy courageous to fight Goliath, is the same God that will help you fight your giants. The same God that heard His children's cries back then, is the same God that hears His children's cries now. The God that answered prayers back then, is the same God who continues to answer prayers today. God provided for His people back then, and He is still the same God who provides for His people right now. The God that moved in wonder miracle working power back then is the same God who is moving in that wonder miracle working power today, I have seen it. The God that healed lives back then is the same healing God of today, He never changes. God was the Savior back then and He is still the Savior today, and saving lives is what He is all about. God touched the lepers back then and He is still touching people today.
Girlfriends, whatever you are facing and are in need of today, God is the same God for you as He was for His people back then, He moves in the same healing power for whatever your need is. I have heard different people say with their mouth, that they can believe for other people but when it comes to believing for themselves, not so much. I believe that the God of yesterday, wants us to reach up our hands to the God of today in faith believing, that whatever your circumstances are, He is the same God of deliverance, healing, providing and answering. He is the God of impossibilities that can make anything happen. (Gen. 18:14, Heb. 6:18, Luke 1:37, Luke 1:45, Matt. 19:26)
What are you asking for, believing for today? Lift up your hands to Him, the one who is faithful, stand on His faithfulness and watch Him move in HIS mighty power as your situation changes for the glory of God to behold, Amen? I am standing in faith believing with you for your situation to change and it will because we are two people that is standing together, and agreeing together, Amen? Matthew 18:20.
Let's Pray,
Father God, I lift up the wonderful name of Jesus, I praise and worship You Lord. Lord, I am so thankful that You are the same God of yesterday, today and forever and You will never change. Lord, I lift up everyone who is facing a trial, a storm, a crisis in their life and I declare and decree that God is moving things around right now in the mighty name of Jesus, and you are coming out of that storm, as you look up you will see the sun shining and the biggest rainbow for that is God's promise to each one of you. I speak forth every prodigal, you are coming home now in Jesus mighty name, that is the promise of God. Sickness and disease must bow at the mention of the mighty name of Jesus, I curse it and call it gone in Jesus mighty name, for Your glory God and Yours alone, in Jesus name, Amen.
Be blessed dear ones and pass the blessings on. Please share these devotions as my hope is that they will be a blessing to others.
