You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. John 15:16 ESV

Good Morning Girlfriends:

Let's take a look together of how David had been chosen to become the next king over Israel. God had chosen Saul to be king over Israel, but because of his disobedience towards the Lord, he was stripped of that honor, so another king was to be chosen and David didn't even see it coming.

The Lord has asked the prophet Samuel to take a vial of olive oil with him and go into Bethlehem, then find a man named Jesse because it was one of his son's that God had chosen to the next king. Samuel had obeyed the Lord by going to Jessie's house, and upon his arrival to Bethlehem, he had invited the elders to come along with him for the sacrifice that would be taking place for the Lord. Knocking on Jessie's door, he was greeted by Jessie and seven of his sons, Samuel explained the reason that he was there, was to anoint one of Jesse's son to be the next king.

Jesse had each of his sons line up, as Samuel looked each one over thinking surely this man would be the one that God would be choosing because of his brawn and strength, each one had stood with great stature, but God said to Samuel, "Don't judge by the man's face or height," God told Samuel that He looks at the heart of a man and none of these men were the one's that God had chosen. Samuel had to ask Jesse if he had any other sons, because he could not leave Bethlehem without anointing the next king. Jesse replied that he had one more and that he was out in the field tending the sheep, Samuel asked for them to call him in.

As soon as the youngest son David walked through the door, God had spoke to Samuel telling him David was the one. Samuel replied to Jesse that David was the chosen one and he anointed David by pouring the olive oil over David's head, and as soon as he did, the spirit of the Lord came upon David and gave him great power from that day on. (1 Sam. 15, 16)

Just as God had chosen David to be king, God used many women in the Bible as well. There was Deborah who was a wife, a prophetess, who was made a judge over Israel because she was righteous and courageous. She had great faith, wisdom and her fairness and obedience to the Lord was great. (Judges 4,5) There was Anna who was a prayer warrior for the Lord, as well as a prophetess. (Luke 2:36-38) God raised up Esther to save the Jewish people, by finding favor in the eyes of the king, only to be made queen, so that Esther and her people would be saved from the evil Haman who wanted them all dead. (The Book of Esther) God used Ruth to show God's redemption to all and how he restore those who looks to Him with hope. Ruth followed her heart and doing what she knew was right. When you follow your heart and do the right thing in the eyes of the Lord, your leadership will be elevated. (Book of Ruth)

Girlfriends, you too can be the next Deborah, the next Anna, the next Esther, or even the next Ruth. Your territory can be enlarged just like "Jabez's" was when He asked. When a person's ways please the Lord, He can use that person, He will anoint that person to be used, to be raised up. God does not look at one's stature, see one's good looks to use a person, but God looks at the heart of man and woman. God can tell if one has a pure heart, one who always tries to do good, one who is following God's commandments to the best of his or her abilities.

This is the next generation that God is raising up to be such a people that He can use for His glory, to help expand the kingdom. You could be next and you may not even see it coming, just like David. God has been preparing, and getting people ready for such great and mighty placements. Get yourself ready, you just might be next!

Let's Pray,

Father God, I praise You and thank You for yet another glorious day. Lord, You are the only one that sees our true hearts. Lord purify our hearts that they would be totally clean for You. Lord. I thank You for the next generation that You are raising up to be used for the kingdom of God. They may be sons and daughters that we would have never expected. Lord, You know what You are doing and I praise You for using each and every one of us in the way that You do. There is a rising in the Deborah's, in the Anna's, in the Esther's and the Ruth's. Lord use each and every one to their full capacity in the Mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Be blessed and pass the blessings on. Thank you for passing this message on.
